A Den of Deception – Fraud, Arrogance, and Unapologetic Greed
I cannot begin to express the disgust I feel towards what used to be one of my favorite BYOB spots. This place has devolved into a cesspool of fraud, dishonesty, and shameless greed. Here’s the appalling tale:
While our group was enjoying ourselves and dancing, a snake in the guise of a waiter stealthily approached the most intoxicated person among us, a person clearly not in a state to make decisions, and had the audacity to take the bill amount directly. He completely bypassed the mandatory coupon process, never even bothering to ask that person – or any of us – about it. Our table hadn’t even been cleared, but the waiter seized the opportunity to render our coupon utterly worthless. This wasn’t just a mistake; it was a premeditated scam, a daylight robbery dressed as service.
But if you thought the deceit ended with the waiters, think again. The owners – the supposed faces of this establishment – were nothing short of arrogant, hostile, and shockingly unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging their staff’s clear misdeeds, they chose to gaslight us, denying any wrongdoing, making us feel like fools for expecting basic honesty. They stonewalled, sneered, and refused to redeem our coupon, spouting blatant lies about policies. Only after an hour of relentless arguments did they grudgingly offer food for the coupon, and even then, they laced the “compromise” with absurdly inflated prices and a staggering GST. This wasn’t customer service – this was extortion.
The sheer audacity, the greed, the unapologetic arrogance – it was a masterclass in how success can rot souls. Once a beloved haunt, this place is now a foul den of cheats and crooks who thrive on exploiting their customers.
Jyada kamiyabi logon ke sar chadhh jata hai – and this place is the perfect, shameful example.

What was once one of my favorite BYOB spots has turned into a nightmare of fraud, dishonesty, and sheer unprofessionalism. Here’s what happened:
While our group was dancing and enjoying, the waiter slyly approached the most intoxicated person among us, collected the bill amount directly, and completely bypassed the mandatory process of taking coupons. He didn’t bother asking that person – or any of us – about it. As a result, our coupon became worthless, and our table wasn’t even cleared. This isn’t just bad service; it’s outright fraud.
But the worst was yet to come. When we confronted the owners, hoping for some professionalism, we were met with arrogance, denial, and outright disrespect. Instead of apologizing or rectifying the situation, they dismissed us, claiming there was no way to redeem our coupon. After a full hour of arguing, they begrudgingly agreed to provide food for the coupon – but with a catch. They slapped on a high GST and overcharged for the food, making it clear they had no intention of being fair.
This isn’t just a bad experience – it’s a testament to how success can corrupt. The behavior of both the waiters and the owners was shameless and deceitful. Jyada kamiyabi logon ke sar chadhh jata hai – and this place is the perfect example.
