As compared to the BBQ outlets in the Delhi-NCR region, this one had an awesome vibe and was more spacious. I visited with one of my cousins last weekend (18th September 2022) for lunch, and we arrived at around 1.30 o'clock.
The booking experience was not as convenient; I was expecting better service as compared to other restaurants' bookings. I booked through, EazyDiner, one of the online booking platforms, around two days before. The customer-management staff was not friendly, and most of them probably all, customers faced the same who visited at the same time. They denied the service for the reason that BBQ did not receive a confirmation on the corresponding booking number. In addition, they indicated that the booking might be on the waiting list, although I have a confirmation message. So, I suggest everyone confirm your booking with BBQ if you book the slot through any other online platform. Since it was the weekend, an astonishing amount of crowd was there.
For non-vegetarian starters, varieties of dishes like chicken, prawns, fish, and mutton were available. We were served dragon chicken along with the regular starter items; the aroma was fantastic. The taste was authentic and delicious. All the items were served as per the official menu, but the service was not that fast due to the peak hour, mainly while serving mutton and prawns. One of the chicken items (I forgot the name) and the prawns (size-wise smaller than at other BBQ restaurants) in the starter were not good, and it felt like they hadn't been cooked properly. The variety of (non-vegetarian) options was limited in the main course section compared to other BBQ outlets. Even though we opted for the non-veg buffet, I felt they were trying to serve vegetarian dishes rather than non-veg.
In street food, south-indian (experienced first time), excellent varieties were available compared to others. At this point, this is the best buffet I have experienced so far.
In the dessert section, wide varieties were available compared to others. I loved the desserts, particularly ras-malai.
Overall, the experience was good! But, if you are in the mood to enjoy all the facilities (buffet), I recommend this restaurant to join in a non-peak hour.
The staff was courteous and friendly, except for the customer handling representative. Because of the rush hour, I felt three/ four staff were attending to us and felt less coordination was there.
Taste-wise – 3.5/5 (non-veg starter)
3.5/5 (non-veg main course)
5/5 (desserts)
Hospitality- 4/5
Hygiene and cleanliness- 4.5/5
Worth (buffet price point...
Read morePlace is very nice, ambiance is great, food is delicious as well,. However the service is little slow. Need to ask again and again to get some stuff.. however all in all good experience with snacks, main course and dessert Awesome place for food enthusiastic. Very large place lots of seats. Very curtious staff. I went for lunch on sunday and it was full still I was served efficiently... There was a bit delay but was expected. Very large number of live counters... It's self serve so go on choose what you want to eat.... Do not wait to be served... Explore the options and fulfil your senses. Live music was going on and the music was so soothing to ears. Totally loved it. The seating space is quite huge here. The place is perfect for family function, birthday parties and corporate events. The best part is that they have maintained the quality and quantity of items here. The staffs are very polite as well. I got to interact with Mr Shyamu and Chef Sachin. Both were very ground to earth and warmly welcomed us. Totally loved their gesture. There are a lot many food items both in veg and Non veg side to choose from. I loved their Prawns, Sweet Corn, Soya chap, Paneer tikka, Chili chicken, Pizza in starters. Also loved their Pav Phaji and Medu Vada. In main course really liked their Butter Chicken, Tandoori Roti, Biryani, Dal Makhani. In desserts loved the rolled icecream and Gulab Jamun. The menu & concept is basically similar to the OG barbeque nation. Points of difference - Pros- variety of non barbeque items, had a massive spread of street food, regional food & main course. Taste was mostly okay for barbeque items. Dessert was nice. Ambience was okay, and the place was huge. Very Fairly priced and cheaper than most places for the spread you get. Cons- waiter almost reluctantly served us, maybe he was just tired but a far cry from the service at barbeque nation. Most of the main course was finished (saag/makki roti) or didn't taste nice (like matar kulcha) and the live counter cook was again reluctant to serve or make stuff, almost felt disrespected by his slacky behaviour For those who care about covid at all, Servers and cooks wont wear a mask during surge covid period and will come to the table and interact in close proximity. Since we have to eat and dont have the option to cover our mouths, this should just be...

If I could live inside a restaurant, it would be TBT - The Barbecue Times! Seriously, I almost asked them to start my mail forwarding. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by what seemed like an aircraft hangar that was converted into a culinary paradise. I think they could host a small country’s population there. I counted 100 tables, but I might have lost track while drooling over the aroma of the lemon fish—so soft it could audition as the next pillow top mattress.
Let’s talk about the food, or should I say, the edible playground? It’s a buffet, people! Which, in layman's terms, means all-you-can-stuff-yourself-with, and then some more! There’s continental, Chinese, South Indian, street food… you name it, they’ve got it. And they don't just serve food; they serve joy on a plate, with extra helpings! I felt like a contestant on a gourmet game show, the only rule being: taste EVERYTHING!
And the ambiance? Oh, it’s like dining in an upscale carnival, minus the clowns but with way better snacks. The decorations were so gorgeous, I half-expected them to start charging for entry like a fancy museum. And those perfect eating vibes? They should bottle it up and sell it as "Mood Booster."
The servers were like culinary ninjas—always there when you need them, invisible when you don’t. They could have probably convinced me to eat my veggies as a kid. Polite? Check. Professional? Double-check. And let’s not forget to throw some confetti at the managers and chefs. They deserve a standing ovation for orchestrating this delicious extravaganza!
Oh, and did I mention the alcoholic drinks? Yep, they've got those too! Now, I’m not entirely sure if they’re included in the buffet price (I was with the family—shhh, no telling mom and dad that I drink), but I’m guessing they’re not, because if they were, the place would be packed with more 'happy' people than a Friday night party! Either way, cheers to TBT for covering all bases.
In short, if you want to have a feast that’ll leave you dreaming about lemon fish and sneaking a spare stomach in your bag, TBT is your place. I had a wonderful experience, and I’m already plotting my return. I might just move...
