When you go to a restaurant, you are hungry. That’s the whole point of going to a place to eat, at least for me. Anyway, we called here to ask if they would have a table. They don’t do reservations. Just walk-ins in their one-room restaurant. Got it. Show up at 9 pm. They take our number. Say they’ll call when they have a table. Few dozen minutes later, they call say they got a table - show up immediately or we will let it go. We show up. They let it go. Then we waited for another 40 minutes and they said that they would save us a spot but right in front of my eyes they gave the spots away to other people. It was not only seeming like they simply did not want to serve us but deliberately discriminated against the group of people I so enthusiastically brought to their joint whatever reason I’ll never know. Nor do I care to find out. In public service I would like to say that no matter how good your food is, no matter how rare or exotic your menu is and no matter how “exclusive” your establishment is - if you are rude and arrogant towards the comfort of your customers, if you do not have a speck of empathy (leave the hospitality business) for a hungry customer waiting for so long at your door, you will never succeed. Your management has no etiquette, no know-how of how to administer tables and treat customers. If you never wanted us to eat there - you could have just let us know, instead of making us wait in this dehumanising heat. This was an absolutely soul crushing, ridiculous experience and I will never come back here again or recommend anyone to step foot in this...
Read moreThe food quality is good and taste nice but extremely over priced. Also they don't let you take away the left overs. After paying a bill of around 2k for one person I think we have the full right to take whats left home. The owner/manager gave some scientific explanation but doesn't mk sense, instead insisted I finish my meal and when I refused he seemed disappointed. I'm full, I don't want to. If ur so sad then may be make arrangements for us to take it home and finish as we please. Sitting can be better. I liked the open kitchen thingy but nothing special was happening in the kitchen. The momos were frozen, noodles in a packet, sauces readymade. Such a kitchen would hv made sense if they were making handmade noodles or momos infront of you rather than claiming it was done before (how do we know?). Didn't make sense.
Response - after I pay for that bowl of noodle, I own it. Let me decide how much I would want to have, whr and when. Consuming food in restaurants shouldn't seem like a punishment, rather an experience. An experience we spend our hard earned money on. Good experiences shouldn't pinch you in the pocket no matter what the cost. If you expect respect for ur efforts put in curating a meal, respect the ones consuming it. Respect the fact that maybe they were saving enough to have a great meal at ur space. Make sure they leave happy and content. Leaving with regret is the biggest blow a customer can give to a restaurant. It's a combined effort. No one person is...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing experience from start to finish.
A small , quaint place serving authentic ramen. A must for anyone who loves the Japanese cuisine and wants to experience traditional cooking of the same.
The service is lovely, they ensure that you don’t have any allergies and are very very accommodating to all requests and customisations you wish to make to your dish.
The chicken gyozas were great, prepared fresh, served with a special chilli oil which was the perfect blend of tangy and spicy.
The vegan donburi exceeded my expectations, I wanted to have something lighter than noodles and this was the perfect option, I added an egg to my meal, which blended perfectly with the sesame base and garlic oil. Each bite was a umami explosion.
They offer multiple ramen options , that cater to all flavour pallets ,rich and light broths each served with your choice of oil(chilli or garlic) and meat.
We tried the chicken tan-tan, which hit the spot perfectly, the noodles were piping and fresh and had the perfect chew.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back and make the mela more so enjoyable. Even though the space is small , it didn’t feel overwhelming if congested.
Would most definitely go again. They also have a coupon system where after a number of visits you get discounts on your meals which is a different...
