Olive Service Apartments Gurgaon — Hotel in Gurugram District

Their website caters to medical tourists which is why we booked with them in the first place. What a huge mistake it was!! A note of caution for future travelers: you will save yourself a lot of hassle if you avoid this company. We paid the full amount plus a security deposit for an apartment that we liked very much…only to be informed days later that construction would be starting and we need to evacuate to a sub-standard alternative that did NOT match the high price we paid for the original apartment. We were told that we could stay and construction would start in 15 days….only two days later they started demolishing the living room right in front of the CANCER PATIENT’S bedroom- someone who is currently undergoing chemo- which they know very well. After protesting, they were kind enough to drive us to a couple of other alternatives and we finally settled on a flat. At that point, we thought we were dealing with nice people and a professional company…how wrong were we! Not even hours into the new apartment, we were told we needed to evacuate. It was already evening and we only had one night to scramble to find another place to stay otherwise we would end up on the street, with a very sick patient with us. This whole ordeal had taken such a toll on my cancer-stricken husband that he broke down crying, saying they were treating him like a dog, moving him from one place to the other and he had zero energy to move around like that due to chemo. They offered us a full refund but didn’t even show up in person to present their apologies. If you’re an international traveler, avoid them: you may end up having to desperately find an alternative accommodation in the middle of the night. Beware of booking with them. They are a bunch of highly UNPROFESSIONAL and INSENSITIVE individuals!!!

We booked via Booking.com initially for a 2BHK located at P 400, Sector 39. Flat was BADLY infested with cockroaches breeding in each corner of kitchen and jumping on individuals. It was a disgrace to make someone stay at such a flat. (especially when most people staying in such locations are the ones seeking urgent medical care at MEDANTA hospital). When complained, they offered a complimentary night’s stay with an apology and a condition to leave them a review online or the complimentary stay will be charged.(I didn’t leave wrong review and end up paying which I later got refunded after few arguments)

Then I again booked with them at Blue O, 239 location. This time it was even horrible experience than before. Because they had accepted online booking and our stay for that day was not confirmed due to their mistake, we were asked to leave the flat at short notice. Also, check they may ask you to pay for electricity that they won’t tell you before !

In short, worst ever experience of lifetime with them! Choose them wisely and don’t add to your stress further if you are already under pressure due to medical emergency. There are plenty of other options and at much lower price...
