Overhyped place, even domino’s cheesy pizza worth 69 is better than 3 vegetarian pizzas that we tried. Simply waste of time and money.

Dear Restaurant owner, Thank you for your prompt response! However, your attempt at defending your restaurant's food and service is duly noted, but your condescension is unnecessary. We shared our feedback to help, not to invite a defensive lecture. Your response reflects poorly on your professionalism. Also, maybe if you put half as much effort into your food as you do into monitoring CCTV, your food might be worth tasting. I have rated the ambience and service as 3 as it is nothing extraordinary or out of the box, but just average and not poor. For your information, we were not looking for Dominos flavor, however the reference was just to provide a comparison between how much one pays and the satisfaction one gets. We have tried many authentic pizzas across Europe in counties such as Switzerland, France, and Italy (glimpses attached for your reference 4-8) and we’ve also tried authentic mozzarella and parmesan from Switzerland and hence we were looking for something like that as Susy is supposed to be one of the best and authentic pizzerias in the city. However, to our disappointment, the pizzas we tried were far from impressive. We had initially ordered 2 pizzas (Margherita and Ortolana) which is enough for a group of three people, however as we were extremely disappointed with the taste but wanted to give the place a fair shot, we ordered the highest priced and recommended vegetarian pizza (Burrata al pesto) which turned out to be equally disappointing (in fact a little more disappointing than the others considering the big bucks we paid for it!!). The crust was bland, burnt, dry and tasted like Indian bread (which we love by the way but definitely not the taste that we were looking for in pizzas). Sides of the crust were extremely thick which were unenjoyable. The cheese, touted to be a premium ingredient, tasted bland and lacked the richness one would expect from quality mozzarella. It felt like a haphazard assembly of ingredients rather than a carefully crafted culinary creation. To add insult to injury, the sauce was bland and lacked depth, leaving the entire pizza tasting flat and unappetizing. Our experience at Pizzeria da Susy was a regrettable one. I would strongly advise pizza enthusiasts to explore other options in the area (one recommendation would be Pizza Express in Ambience Mall), as there are undoubtedly far better pizzerias that offer a more satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. Finally, one of the most appreciated qualities about any business owner is to take constructive feedback with a pinch of salt, which obviously requires some work here in addition to the...

We had a confirmed reservation at Pizzeria Da Susy for 9:00 PM. While we were about an hour away, we received a call from the restaurant at 8:50 PM. We clearly informed them that we were on the way and would arrive by 9:15 PM.
To our shock, when we reached at 9:13 PM, our reservation was already cancelled without notice. The staff was unhelpful, unapologetic, and shockingly rude — a kind of behavior that has no place in the hospitality industry. They made zero effort to accommodate us, nor did they show basic courtesy or understanding.
We didn’t get to try the food — and frankly, after that experience, we didn't want to. Service is everything, and theirs was absolutely third grade.
Disappointed and frustrated, we ended up going to another nearby restaurant that thankfully welcomed us warmly and reminded us what real hospitality looks like.
Pizzeria Da Susy might be known for its food — but their attitude ruins the entire experience. Would never recommend based on our experience.

Thank you for your detailed reply , though, frankly, the tone and attitude in it are far more telling than any policy reminder.
Before you boast about making pizzas, perhaps it's time you understood what hospitality truly means. Hospitality is not just about sending reminders or enforcing a 10-minute grace period like a strict school bell — it's about how you make your guests feel. And in our case, it was clear: unwelcome and disrespected.
We were only 10–15 minutes late, and we informed your team that we were on our way. Instead of handling the situation with empathy or professionalism, your staff chose rudeness and rigidity, making zero effort to accommodate or even speak politely. That's not policy — that's poor customer service hiding behind policy.
Mocking customers with lines like “we are not Airtel” or suggesting we “lack responsibility” is not only unprofessional — it's insulting. If this is how you treat paying guests who made a confirmed reservation, then perhaps it’s time you take a break from baking and learn how to actually run a service business.
A successful restaurant is built not just on food, but on grace, warmth, and respect. And from what we experienced — and from your condescending reply — those are the ingredients you're...
Read moreA very lousy experience right from the reservation desk to the table service. Reservation desk letting people in on their whim.
In the chair seating section, there was no one in the section or 4 people at once.
Staff is a bit inattentive and require to be instructed multiple times. For instance - ordered 2 beers, got 1, asked for another beer and glasses for both, got the other beer and 1 glass. Meh
Diavola is supposed to have sausage?! I cannot understand why they were cut in strands?! I had high hopes for this one.
4 cheese pizza the composition of cheese was completely haywire. Neither of the cheeses were complimenting.
The crust of both the pizzas was thick and chewy and like a sponge. There's no wash of any kind on the crust. And there's only chilli oil for the center table.
My younger cousin who's a complete novice about food compared it to a stale kulcha. And as much as I hated the comparison, I had to somewhat agree with it.
I was hoping to add it to my top 5 pizza list. Maybe it was a one off experience or maybe I had high hopes or maybe it's just another instagrammable place. It just wasn't it.
Edit: I was under the impression that salami is a type of sausage, I'll call it salami. Given that it's supposed to be the star of the pizza besides the sauce, the cheese and the crust, it didn't shine, because it's barely there.
For the 4 cheeses, there was only the sour bitterness of blue cheese. I am not talking about the combination of the cheeses, I'm talking about the composition that was used for my pizza. They should be complimentary in that way.
You may be right about the cornice, however I think I'd want a thinner crust(I don't mean a dominoes thin crust, I mean the one with air pockets) with a dry cornice and an option to add olive oil if I want to.
I might be being too harsh but I personally did not have a good experience. And I know it's my fault for cribbing about this in the review section when I should've just asked the chef there but I was out for a good time and didn't want to damper the experience for my...
