Have been frequenting this restaurant since more than a decade now.
Pros:
Good South Indian Food A lot of varieties Good and well behaved staff Never had a stomach problem after consuming the food here, since inflow of people is high. Good for family, groups and even couples. No parking hassles at night, since parking is free and easily available.
Cons:
Service can be improved.
For eg: the serving people vanish after delivering the first order. One needs to really wait for a long time and call them to even get one's glasses filled with water or to place subsequent orders.
The cleaning staff is over enthusiastic about lifting our plates. Hence, sometimes, they stand on the head and so one has to quickly gulp down the last couple of morsels.
Seating arrangement is cramped- the feeling becomes stronger during rush hours when your chair touches the chair of the person sitting behind you on another table.
The waiters need to be trained to speak proper Hindi because sometimes it is difficult to understand what they are trying to tell us.
The design of the drinking waterglasses is funny and its not so comfortable to drink water from them.
Non spicy food eaters may find a lot of the food too spicy.
EvenThough parking is free, it is difficult to find parking during day time since some banks and call centres operate from the...
Read moreNaivedyam is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with warm hospitality, traditional décor, and the soothing aroma of freshly prepared dosas and sambhar. The ambiance has a calm, temple-like vibe — beautifully adorned with brass lamps, classical music, and wooden furnishings that transport you straight to the heart of South India.
The food here is consistently top-notch. Their dosas are crisp and flavorful, idlis are soft and fluffy, and the vadas are perfectly fried without being oily. The sambhar is rich, tangy, and full of spices, and the coconut chutney tastes fresh and perfectly balanced. The thalis are a must-try if you want a wholesome experience — generous portions with a variety of curries, rasam, papad, and dessert.
One thing that really stands out is the service. The staff are polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure you enjoy your meal. The presentation of food is simple yet elegant, served on traditional steel plates that add to the authenticity.
Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and the experience. It’s a great spot for family lunches, casual dinners, or even a peaceful solo meal.
Overall, Naivedyam offers not just food but a cultural experience — authentic flavors, comforting hospitality, and a serene atmosphere. A true celebration of South Indian tradition and taste! Highly...
Read moreHad this on my mind for quite some time, and finally tried it a few days back.Went for lunch & was super busy. I also had Zomato gold which I did not face any problem using 👍
On sitting you are welcomed with a complimentary chaach, which was completely new for us and tasted extremely good, so ordered again bit this time it had too much mustard seeds in it though.
For food we had- Mysore masala dosa- The dosa was nice & crisp. I really liked the sambar and the chutneys, full of flavour and light.
Panchtara uttapam- These were 5 small uttapams, all of them were equally good but I liked the coconut one and the paneer one.
Malabar parantha with veg korma- I have had this many times during my visits to south india and have always loved it, so this one was equally tasty and flaky but I felt that the parantha was a bit thicker than what I would have liked.
Idiappam- I had never tasted this dish before, so went for it to try something new. It was freshly prepared and took 10-15 mins to arrive. Overall it was a good dish very fluffy, soft, fresh, but I didn't liked it that much.
Payasam- I have always loved payasam since the first time I had it, and did not find this that good in taste.
Overall a good experience, the service was quick and the ambience...
