Parat — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Celebrated my mum’s birthday yesterday evening relishing the magic of Parat by Harangad Singh. Kudos to the spirit of Harangad for his sincere involvement and recommendations. Food came in spillproof boxes, well labeled accompanied by complimentary gravy, few breads and Kali Jalebi. We ordered Bhopali Murg Rizala-3, Tawa Bhuna Champ-3, Dal Makhni-2, Mutton Korma-2, Nimbu Mirch Fish Tikka-1, Soya Chaap-1, assorted breads, and Paan Jamun-4. All the dishes had distinct fresh flavor and savored till the last. Pet bhara but niyat nahi like situation.

Fish was perfectly customized as bland and Soya chaap despite not being in menu was catered for. The fine stuffing was unique and tasted yum. Fleshy and fresh Chicken and mutton pieces were succulent with preferred mild spices. We chomped the well done Tawa champ with such pleasure declaring it to be star of the spread. Each bite of Dal Makhni sang yeh dil maange more. The mint chutney and onion salad completed the loop of satisfaction with its freshness and appetizing look and taste. Assorted beads such as Maqbooli roti (maybe with a little less soda), Khameeri naan, Tandoori roti, Lachcha/Pudina Parantha were more than adequate for 8 of us. I would like to retry Kaali Jalebi (complimentary) at the joint itself once more than home delivery. Light syrupy Paan flavor in Jamun rounded off the birthday dinner.

All my queries and requests for customizations were noted and included. That needs a listening ear with knowledge of customer expectations. Thumbs up from our family to Parat for a progressive and...

I ordered butter chicken , maqbooli roti and naan from them. Well, I have to say that the packaging of the food was out of this world! It was very hygienically packed and sent. Coming on the quantity, it was really decent for half butter chicken ordered. Taste, well taste is most important. The gravy of butter chicken was absolutely delicious, though the chicken was quite disappointing as it was undercooked and did not have any taste. I really feel that chicken being essence of butter chicken should have been given some attention.

Would like to try other items on their menu.

Fingers crossed that this time chicken would be cooked properly.

Tried food from Parat multiple times and loved it!

I ordered Chicken curry, mutton curry, chicken saag and chicken biryani and loved it all.

Chicken curry was my absolute favourite with very balanced and smooth gravy.

I just wrote in the comments to give extra gravy and the restaurant was kind enough to give additional gravy in a separate box, this was a very sweet gesture which is rarely followed by any restaurant.

The packaging is top notch as well.

Would love to try more dishes soon.

Only feedback would be the bread quality can be improved upon, rest everything is just awesome!
