No complaints about the food. Even the drink was great.
Now let's come to the pain point that's the service. We were attended by Komal who was yawning and seemed very uninterested when she approached the table. I ignored .. thought maybe the girl is tired and proceeded to order a drink, starter and few main course items. I wanted to inquire about few running offers but she was clueless about everything and went back to ask someone for every query. Then directly comes in the main course. When I asked about the starter, everyone seemed clueless. Komal at first looked confused and said 'order kahaan kara tha?'. This is when I had mentioned the order to both her and the manager and had even discussed what the starter was. Before I could reply, the manager stepped in and it was obvious that he didn't want me to communicate to this Komal at all- no idea why. He was like.. leave her.. don't talk to her..let me handle etc. The starter didn't come. And that's not the issue. The issue is abysmal service, and a server who is so confused, sleepy and ready to blame the customer even when the customer was till then ignoring the inappropriate behaviour. Please train the staff first instead of ruining...
Read moreI recently visited Punjab Grill at Airia Mall (2nd floor) during the evening. Though I was already full from snacks at Cinepolis, I ordered a Mango Lassi, which was excellent in both quantity and quality. I also tried the Vegetarian Tandoori Platter, but found the quality lacking. Later, I realized I could have customized the kebabs, but as a first-timer, I wanted to explore. The Paapdi Chaat was decent, though nothing extraordinary since it’s more of a street food dish. The ambience, however, was truly royal—clean, well-lit, and hygienic, though the prices were on the higher side. The prices were quite steep, they served me a 750ml AVVA mineral water bottle that costed ₹200, not sure I could have asked for some other bottled water.
That said, I’ll be going back to try other dishes—who knows, my review might...
Read moreI went with one more family as it was my friend's birthday. We wanted to make it a special meal but were very disappointed with the entire experience!!
My experience at Punjab Grill was quite disappointing. Starters were just okay with Malai broccoli being the worst !! Paneer cigar rolls were good and chicken tikka was just fine. In main course, The special paneer gravy didn’t meet expectations, and the laal maas mutton was undercooked with a bland gravy. To top it off, the service was unsatisfactory. They were unable to handle the incrased load on sunday. Even water was not served even though we had asked them 3 times.
I met Ms Pooja chef too but she couldn't help much. If i could have gotten any negative star to give for food I would have preferred that!!
Just to add that this was Airia mall...
