The Beer Café — Restaurant in Gurugram District

This is a limited review as my trip was not for more than 2 hours here. The first beer I ordered was good in taste but absolutely stale, the chill was right but it had lost it's freshness days ago. The second one was Budweiser: fresh, right chilled and had some life in it, but again it's just Budweiser. We ordered chargrilled chicken: they say taste is subjective, I believe this dish was and exception if you know what I mean (mass will discard it unanimously). Prices of outside eating are through the roof, I don't blame beer caffe to be at par in the competition. Not sure who to blame for it. It doesn't justify to me, maybe I am old fashioned. I have started enjoying home cooked food with L1 beer far more than trying and wasting money outside. Seems like everyone is competing for raising the prices but no one is willing to compete for quality. There are limited options in this area and I wished beer caffe would have turned out better. Maybe they will and I definitely look forward to it. I will be rewriting again.

I really wanted to give a higher review, but since I'm coming for the second time I thought some things would have changed. Alas. They were. They had gotten worse than before. I would say only the packed beer was drinkable, the food was stale. And half of the ingredients were missing, such as we ordered the nachos and the guacamole was missing. Service is as bad as it gets. There are three young boys standing near the counter. That is all the service you will get. You will have to call them multiple times. And still they will go back every single time to ask their senior the same question which you asked them. They don't have clarity with what kind of offers they have on Zomato or other apps. And we booked through a Zomato offer which they said they don't. Have with them right now. I remember 2 years back I came and there was a similar problem I faced. There's a much better option available. On the in the building next door that is socials on the 3rd floor as well as if you want a dining experience there is Hive....

Recently visited this place, twice in one week and here's my experience below: If you’re a fan of fresh beer, Beer Cafe in Sector 85 is definitely worth a visit. The fresh beer is quite refreshing, and the offers on mugs make it an attractive deal for beer lovers (1+1). However, when it comes to the food, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The taste was below average, and considering the price, it didn’t feel like great value for money. A BIG NO FOR FOOD!! This place has overly priced the food items and poorly quantified the food portions!!

On the bright side, the service staff at Beer Cafe is fantastic. They’re courteous, humble, and very supportive, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The ambiance is just okay – being located inside a mall, the space tends to get crowded, so don’t expect a quiet, relaxed setting.
