The Spice Lab — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I went there with my family. We ordered some paneer dish(lacked spices) and soya chaap dish was spot on. Considering food came out of kitchen in front of us, it wasn't hot.

The service was also pretty bad. First we asked for straws for water, I took one, before other family members use them he took it and kept it away somewhere. We had to ask him again(instead of sorry he was like aapko chaiye tha kya). Then while we were eating and he was constantly roaming inside, looking at our table, hovering around us. It was a bit uncomfortable. Then instead of asking the customer in a professional manner that do you need anything he said "OR roti chaiye kya Ma'dam :D". I mean who even ask like that. No smile or politeness throughout the service.

I have noticed this thing in other restaurants too in India, for someone who has been to restaurants in western countries too, staring at food part from the servers is pretty bad in India. They need to be more professional. People eat outside to have good time with their family, don't make them...

Extremely good people. Serving you with a smile and always ready to help. Location: Located in the front side of Banni Sqaure at the righmost corner. If you are lucky enough, you can park your car right outside their entrance instead of the painful underground parking of 2 floors. Ambience: A very small place. Indoor seating only for 10-15 people. They have outdoor seating for more people but this is useful only when the weather is nice. Also there are a lot of flies outside which keep irritating you. Food: We had ordered Panner, Yellow Dal Fry, Masala Kulcha, Garlic Naan & Fresh Lime Soda. Everything was very good. The paneer dish was yummy. Filling in the Kulcha was good. But the Yellow Dal Fry was very bad. The two of us couldnt even eat 2 bowls. The whole serving went as a waste. Service: Like I mentioned. Very polite and smiling people. Sudden plan of party at friend's house who stays near by this outlet recommended us to order as she had been ordering it from here & had no complaints.

We got both Chicken dishes half half plate of Peri Peri & Afghani.

Order reached on time with 7/10 on packaging but was warm.

Peri Peri tasted ok, not wow factor but the Afghani did not tasted at all like the original.

Both the dishes were cooked properly however lacked in taste & was not worth spending 774/rs. It was a disappointment for all sitting there & especially the host.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone, neither I will try back again as I had faced...
