My Visit to Imperfecto Patio: A Culinary Adventure
Last week, I decided to treat myself to a delightful afternoon at Imperfecto Patio, one of the biggest high-energy bars located in Sector 51, Gurugram. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and extensive buffet, I was excited to experience the much-talked-about Unlimited Veg and Non-Veg Buffet offered from Monday to Friday between 12 PM and 4 PM.
From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the lively ambiance. The place was buzzing with energy, and the decor was a perfect mix of eclectic and chic. But what truly caught my attention was the buffet spread – it was a food lover's paradise!
The buffet offered a tantalizing variety of dishes, catering to every palate. From fresh salads to traditional Indian street foods like golgappe and papdi chaat, every corner of the buffet table had something inviting. I started my culinary journey with the salads, which were crisp and refreshing. The golgappe and papdi chaat were bursting with flavors and reminded me of the vibrant street food culture.
Next, I moved on to the appetizers. The hummus was creamy and paired perfectly with freshly baked pita bread. The chilli paneer had the right amount of spice and was a delightful treat. As I continued exploring, I found a live pasta station where I indulged in a bowl of penne pasta cooked to perfection. The chef's expertise was evident in every bite.
No meal is complete without dessert, and Imperfecto Patio did not disappoint. The gulab jamun was soft and soaked in just the right amount of syrup, making for a sweet ending to an incredible meal.
One of the best parts of dining buffet-style is the freedom to try everything on offer without worrying about the cost. For a blanket charge of ₹699/-, the Unlimited Buffet at Imperfecto Patio is an absolute steal. I relished the opportunity to sample a wide variety of dishes without having to make difficult choices.
If you're a food enthusiast like me and love the idea of tasting a little bit of everything, this buffet is perfect for you. The quality of food, coupled with the lively ambiance, makes Imperfecto Patio a must-visit destination in Gurugram.
What are you waiting for? Make your reservation for the buffet and indulge in a culinary adventure that promises to be both satisfying and memorable.
I hope this blog inspires you to check out Imperfecto Patio and enjoy their fantastic buffet....
Read moreIt is really sick how these outlets operate in this city; it genuinely breaks my heart. Money milking machines :(
I watched Plini (an international, highly skilled guitarist) live at this location. Unfortunately, after buying a ticket that was INR 2500, they asked me to pay an additional cover charge of INR 1000!!
What's the point of a ticket if you also mandate the cover charge? And that too, this high!!
On top of that, they had two options for beer; the rest were hard liquor, one priced at INR 500 (Budweiser) and one at INR 750 (Corona), and guess what!! Budweiser wasn't available 🤦
I could still ration that out, but I lost it when my friend asked for water; they refused to give us that unless we paid them INR 100 for a bottle. I'm not an expert on law, but I'm pretty sure there was a supreme court Court ruling which mandates all eateries to provide or at least have an option of free water.
Okay, so after all that, you'd think the event was worth it...well, only when they played. Unfortunately, the performance that was supposed to start at 8:00 PM started at 10:00 PM!! And that too, by an opening band! Now, who was the band, where were they mentioned? I HAVE NO IDEA. They weren't mentioned in the brochure or their site; they did not announce themselves and most of all, if there was an opening band.. WHY THE FCK DID THEY (the organizers) MAKE US WAIT FOR 2 FCKING HOURS for some live music.
Now onto the main performance, At 10:35 PM, Plini took to the stage, and played for 2 minutes, followed by 20-30 mins of technical difficulties 🤦 So I was left, standing amongst sweaty people, with an expensive drink in hand, watching the organizers fix something they had the whole day for.
I would like to end this review on a good note, though, so I'll point out some good things. They had plenty of people managing crowd control The food was good Ventilation was almost good Ample space for people to stand Performance was perfect
Conclusion - I came for an experience of watching a performance, that experience got tainted when the venue is hell bent on squeezing as much money as possible out of me and not respecting the value of my time. How to fix this? seems pretty straightforward, not hiking up prices during events and following your timeline
And maybe, not force us to pay for something as little as a...
Read moreThe event planned at Imperfecto patio was a concert by Jasleen royal. So to break the event in 2 parts -
Jasleen royal being the legend she is, was ofcourse amazing. But that's pretty much about it when it comes to the good part.
The event time given was 8 pm. There was no sign of starting the Event (except servicing alcohol and a huge queue for paid snacks) till 10 pm (that too with junior artist) !! The place was over crowded which was expected with a celebrity as big as her. But it was like stuffing hundreds of people in a room for 2 long hours so they could probably sell the quota of alcohol. To make things worse, it was informed by the "rude bodyguards" at the entry that if we step out to eat something or take a breather since the Event has not started, re-entry will not be allowed. Hence it was more like forcibly keeping the crowd jam-packed in a hall without any clear intimation on when the event will start.
There were apparently some food arrangements (to buy ofcourse) at the terrace area if you had the patience to stand in a longgg queue which seemed like the only option anyway. Either you eat there or you stay hungry because re-entry in the event is not allowed!! We chose not to stand in that queue in the humid weather outside.
Jasleen royal stepped on to the stage at 10 30 pm for a 8 pm event!! If the junior artists had to perform before her, they should have started earlier atleast!
We saw 1 girl fainting in the crowd because of the claustrophobic environment. So be careful when you decide to go to this place for a "big event". Not worth taking the health risk.
Definitely not going to this place for a concert again. We stayed till around 11 30 pm because well we had waited in sweat for hours to see her perform. So the 1 hour with Jasleen on the stage was amazing. But I would rather attend it in a better and bigger place which is less claustrophobic and...
