Very average experience, nothing great. average food which you can get at most of the average restaurants.
starters ordered were above average to good.
in main course, Dal Tadka was good, Dal makhni was bland, below average. and mix veg (some achari veg) was different & tasted good. 4th dish we ordered was some spring onion and besan ki sabzi... was told as speciality dish of chef... i didn't understood what was dish and should this dish in any variant ever be a dish in a restaurant. Chef Harpal, if you ever read this review, do comment and tell that if this dish is a main course dish and if yes, how should we eat it? with some bread or should we eat it on its own.
my mother sometimes makes bread poha, which is made by dipping bread in tempered curd and cooked with some veggies. this besan and spring onion dish tasted much similar to this.
breads seemed interesting, good part was most of the parantha's seemed to be made with atta without maida.
I was expecting a bit more from Zattar parantha and masar stuffed breads, these were a bit let down in taste.
now coming to service, water was not served even till the time we finished starters and ordered, on asking to fill water, the server lady was asking each person on table if they want water, come on.... atleast fill all glasses atleast once. what if someone gets a chilli and wants water or gets thirsty.

Read moreI visited on fathers’s day occasion, after waiting for more than half an hour in waiting lounge where AC was not working and only cooler was there in 50 degrees temperature we got the table. I was flabbergasted as the tamarind chutney, mint chutney & that sweet and sour mango pickle they served was partially consumed by the previous guests and they did not changed that even after asked, infact the F&b steward after our multiple request refill the same chutney bowls which we could see from our table somehow. This incident really pissed me off as I planned a special dine out for my parents, which I didn’t wanted to spoil to which I asked my family not to taste chutney’s and pickle as it was contaminated. The fryers were super soggy and was not upto the mark. Food service extremely slow. Additionally, the hanker-chiefs was not placed properly along with cutlery instead the steward openly gave it to us like shopkeeper gave grocery items to the customers. When asked to the steward about this inappropriate service to which politely he said “Bahut rush hai sir” “ jahan ek table to ek round me ready krte hai aj 10 round lag rahe h wahan” This was not the kind of service which we expect. Read moreToday I decided to go Karigari for dinner with my family, the restaurant was on my check list from so long as I used to admire recipes of Harpal Sodhi. We reached and there was some weird smell in the whole restaurant but that could be ignored but still we were really excited to try the food, but everything tasted really average. We ordered drinks and starters. The banger which was about to explode was totally unacceptable, unbelievable it was something which was the last thing we could have expected from this franchise. For the main course we ordered Subz Biryani, garlic naan and dal makhni. My whole is strictly pure vegetarian, my mother saw something unusual in her plate of biryani and checked I thought might be it’s a piece of cauliflower bcz yes it’s a veg biryani but further I confirmed it’s a piece of chicken or mutton. We spoke to the head check Kunwar Pal Singh and manager Anil Pawar they both confirmed it’s piece of chicken and claimed both veg and non veg sections are different. If it’s true then how come that piece of chicken was there in that pot? There menu have Vaishnav dishes which don’t even have onion and garlic do you guys adhere by what you claim??
