I have visited Bhagsu 6 times between 2012-2021 and have spent about 18 months in the town. There are a few good restaurants in town, but Chilly Beans is my favourite. I would have eaten at least 100 meals at Chilly Beans over the years, and I have enjoyed every single one of them. Like the whole of Upper Bhagsu, Chilly Beans is a pretty laid back place, but the staff are also friendly and efficient. The large interior is split in half, with one side having standard tables and chairs, while the other has low tables with cushions to sit on. The menu is the most wide ranging in town and covers cuisines from around the world, in full meals and also snacks. Non-veg dishes are available, but those of us who only eat vegan or veg are very well catered for, with great selections of plant based choices that are delicious. I can't wait to get back to Bhagsu and sit down for a meal at Chilli's.

Just a quick 2-minute walk from Bhagsu Naag's city center, Chilly Beans Café is a hidden treasure with a chill ambiance. The food is incredibly tasty, with soft rotis and curries that are to die for. The Schnitzel plate is also a must-have, highly recommended for anyone visiting. The friendly staff, especially the server who warmly calls me "brother," adds a personal touch to the experience. Portions are generous, and prices are surprisingly affordable. Perfect for both families and groups of friends, don't miss the Bhagsu Cake with Ice Cream—it's a must-try! Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Chilly beans cafe is located in upper bhagsu near the hostel moustache, the ambience of the cafe is very relaxing, cosy and comforting. We have ordered a falafel platter, Chicken thukpa, tofu noodles and hot chocolate. falafel platter was very okay okayish and not the authentic one, the falafels were full of cardamons and which was killing the flavours of it. The hummus was not good either which was very dry with missing dressings of olive oil. Chicken thukpa was good in a taste with the proper amount of chicken, noodles and veggies. Tofu noodles were the best in terms of taste as they were properly spiced and tossed. The hot chocolate was good but could have been better as I was expecting a strong one. The owner/chef of this cafe was very kind, the service was fast too.

I would have given this place 6 or more stars if such an option existed! I absolutely love this place: from the delicious variety of food which includes vegan, Israeli, Thai and much more to the relaxed and peaceful ambience, I can never get enough of Chilly beans! The restaurant staff is also extremely friendly. I have never been disappointed with their dishes. I tried their vegan Buddha bowl, vegan breakfast, Thai red curry, steamed and fried momos and healthy breakfast. Everything was finger licking. You must definitely visit this place!

I tried Chicken Bruschetta, Peper Chicken Steak and Healthy Vegan thali. Everything was very wholesome. The taste was delicious, beyond expectations. The prices are very reasonable. The vibe of the place is so cool that people are hanging out there even after completing their meals. Must try place especially for dinner if you are around Bhagsunag. (PS: The portion size is really big and we were three people but still couldn't finish everything. Be mindful while ordering or you will have the guilt of wasting food as me)

The place is in the Bhagsunag area and falls on the way to Dharamkot. It is famous around the area and you can go there and just chill. I ordered salted french fries, Arabica pasta and Thupka. The food wasn't great but not bad either. I felt the french fries were just fried potatoes. The pasta was just so-so but thupka was good. The wait time is 15 minutes. The ambience was nice and it has enough space to accommodate large groups. Recommended as it is budget friendly with a large space.
