I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the abysmal service we received during our recent visit to your establishment. The events that unfolded left us utterly appalled and questioning the very essence of hospitality.
The Mix-Up: Vegetarian Turned Non-Vegetarian We ordered vegetarian dishes, but to our dismay, they arrived with unmistakable traces of non-vegetarian ingredients. It was as if the kitchen staff had a penchant for culinary chaos. When we politely pointed out the error, the response was nothing short of disdainful. Our plates were snatched away, leaving us feeling like unwitting accomplices in a culinary crime. The Bill Debacle: Charging for the Wrong Items Imagine our shock when the bill arrived, and we were charged for the very dishes we had explicitly rejected due to their incorrect preparation. When we sought clarification, the server’s retort was both audacious and absurd: “You ate it, so you pay for it.” The bill was unceremoniously flung onto our table, as if we were delinquents caught red-handed. The Rudeness Quotient: Off the Charts Your staff’s behavior was nothing short of reprehensible. Rudeness seemed to be the dress code of the day. We left wondering if basic courtesy had been banished from your establishment. A simple apology would have sufficed, but alas, even that was too much to ask. The Unforgivable Sin: Serving Non-Vegetarian Food to Vegetarians Let’s address the elephant in the room: the unforgivable sin of serving non-vegetarian fare to patrons who adhere strictly to a vegetarian diet. Your lack of remorse in this matter is baffling. Perhaps you believe that dietary preferences are mere trifles, but for us, it’s a matter of principle. The Aftermath: A Vow Never to Return We paid the entire bill, including the extra pasta price (which we returned). Not because we wanted to, but because we understand the value of integrity. However, rest assured that we will never grace your doorstep again. We’ve found solace in other restaurants—ones that understand the true meaning of customer satisfaction. In conclusion, your establishment’s attitude and approach are nothing short of abhorrent. May this scathing review serve as a wake-up call—one that reverberates through your business and forces introspection.
Sincerely,
A Former Patron Who Will...
Read moreI would like to post review regarding this dine in, it is cost effective, but please be sure to ask carefully about each item in menu and its ingredients, we ordered spring roll, in menu there were first of all no demarcation of green and red infront of each item. They asked us would you like it mix, we were like sure why not. Now the thing is my family is pure vegetarian. We said spring roll and they said have mix. They didn't mentioned what are ingredients in mix spring roll, it has egg and chicken. The light in dine in was very low and we could hardly understand what's in what, my husband while eating bychance realised there is chicken in this, he pointed it out and owner of restro said yes it did had, as you ordered mix. We said it isn't your responsibility to tell us what is in what. He said, simply no , you tell us you don't want chicken. We pointed out how are we supposed to inform you as there is nothing mentioned in menu. He started a fight and said, if we need to mention everything in menu, then it means we need to create 100 pages of menu. And not a single person from staff admitted their fault. They force us to pay full amount, "aise kaise paise nhi doge le kar rahunga",he didn't say sorry even for once, infact 5-6 his people even come there, if we wouldn'thave stopped, they all would have start beating my husband my suggestion is if you are vegetarian, refrain going from here or be super alert. Trust me there are other great cafes in bhagsu, why to take risk at...
Read moreIf you're searching for a café experience that falls flat in every way, look no further than German Bakery. A lot of locals recommended this place, but this establishment fails to deliver on its promises, leaving much to be desired for even the most forgiving of patrons. Might have been good in the past.
Service - Disaster. The person sitting at counter is extremely rude and perhaps the only time he smiled was after I made the payment.
The food—or lack thereof. Dull flavors, poorly executed dishes, and questionable freshness characterize the dining experience, leaving taste buds unimpressed and stomachs unsatisfied.
As for the ambience, it's a mixed bag at best. While we were not allowed to dine upstairs, the ground floor ambience is average. The open sitting area may be enjoyable if the weather is good.
The only redeeming aspect of this dismal establishment is its location, which, to its credit, is relatively convenient for those who are visiting Bhagsunag and nearby streets. However, even this small convenience is overshadowed by the overall disappointment that awaits anyone foolish enough to venture inside.
From its lackluster food and mediocre ambience to its extremely poor service, it fails to impress on every level. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a more deserving...
