Read moreI have been to Kasol twice. During my first visit, I was not aware about this place and when I was there the 2nd time I read it in reviews of Hotel Sandhya that how Jim Morrison's path is opposite to Hotel Sandhya. That's how this cafe came to my attention.
It was around 7PM and I decided to go to this beautiful place and that too solo. Before you reach this place, there is a trek for 5-7 mins which was a bit scary as it was getting dark after 7 but I continued walking asking a man on my way if that path leads to the cafe and the answer was positive. I finally reached this place.
You take your shoes Off outside the main door and enter. This place gives you a different solo, happy and carefree vibe. The menu had a lot of options including Israeli Cuisines. After much thought, I ordered Veg-Noodles which was definitely the right choice because I never ate such tasty Veg-Noodles anywhere else.
They also have a curtain on which they play an animated movie which can keep you entertained too.
While paying my bill at the reception, I had a brief jolly conversation with the caretaker of the place and I appreciated their food and how their good Google reviews made me come to this place. He told me this place was his elder brother's dream which he fulfilled and named it after his biggest inspiration Jim Morrison.

Read moreFirst of all I would like you to know is this is VEGETARIAN restaurant. I'm a vegetarian but when I reached here with along with one of my friend who is non vegetarian disappointed for a while but later we found out that the food is really great here. I don't write how to reach in every review but here I felt I should write that because I found it difficult to reach here with only use of Google maps
HOW TO REACH? There is a small trail going upwards from opposite of Hotel Sandhya on Manikarnan Rd and after that that way is well marked and gives you a 10-15 mins of trekking experience and it's really worth it. If you are confused te it's best to ask locals they are very helpful and polite.
Ambience! I went here @ afternoon for lunch around 12-12:30 and there wasn't too many people here usually in the evening this café gets crowded and you'll see there are a lot of posters and paintings hanging on the wall. On the entrance there is small garden with few plants and flowers. There no chairs in the cafe and the mattresses are used for sitting just like few other cafe's in Kasol. In the evening you'll see a live performance as well as they show movies on projector on particular time. So evening is best time to visit this cafe.
Food😋 This cafe was founded by an Israeli guy so you can see Israeli cousin here from the menu I loved the Falafel and cheese balls. The quantity is more than enough for...
