Staying at Sony Cottage River View Café was nothing short of magical. Nestled right beside the serene Parvati River, the view from the rooms and café is absolutely breathtaking — especially in the mornings with misty mountains and the sound of flowing water. 🌄✨

The hospitality was top-notch — warm, welcoming, and super helpful staff who make you feel right at home. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Kasol.

The café is a must-visit, even if you’re not staying here! Their food is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Loved the wood-fired pizzas, Israeli platters, and their chai with a view is an experience in itself. ☕🍕

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant in Kasol. We ordered lasagna and pizza, expecting a nice meal. Instead, both dishes were extremely spicy—so much that we couldn’t finish them. When we asked the waiter why the lasagna was so spicy, he rudely replied, “Lasagna has to be spicy,” and told us we didn’t understand the dish.

Despite our hunger, we ate some of the food. Unfortunately, the next day, we suffered from severe food poisoning during a 7 km trek from Kasol l, continuous vomiting made the journey a nightmare.

When we complained at the reception, they were indifferent and unhelpful. They questioned why we hadn’t spoken up earlier, even though we had already addressed the issue with the waiter. After much frustration, they offered a minimal refund of ₹250, which doesn’t compensate anything.
