Negative Points
Entry Fee: Starting with an entry fee of ₹30 per person is unusual and can feel off-putting, especially when customers are there to spend money on food and services.
Food Quality: Serving subpar food that doesn't meet basic standards is unacceptable. The quality of food is the heart of any restaurant.
Loud Music: The excessively loud DJ music can be very uncomfortable and disruptive, especially for diners looking for a peaceful experience.
Staff Behavior: Politeness and customer care should be a priority in any service industry. Rude or indifferent behavior from the staff or manager only drives customers away.
Small Space: Limited space can make the place feel overcrowded and uncomfortable, especially during busy hours.
Bag/Belonging Policy: Asking customers to leave their belongings outside without proper safety measures is highly unprofessional and can lead to distrust.
Disaster Dishes: Serving poorly cooked food reflects a lack of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Suggestions for Improvement
Entry Fee: This policy should be reconsidered. An entry fee often discourages potential customers unless justified (e.g., as a cover charge for events).
Food Quality: Immediate action should be taken to improve food preparation and presentation. Fresh ingredients and proper hygiene are non-negotiable.
Music Volume: Ensure the DJ keeps the music at a pleasant level. Loud noise can ruin the dining experience for families and individuals alike.
Staff Training: Train staff and management on proper customer service etiquette. A welcoming and professional team can make a huge difference.
Ambience and Space: Reassess the seating arrangement to utilize the space better and avoid overcrowding.
Pros (With Clarification)
Walking in a Busy Area: The restaurant being located in a lively area could be a plus if it’s managed well, as it has the potential to attract more footfall.
Patience Test: While it may unintentionally test patience, that’s hardly a selling point. A positive dining experience should be seamless and enjoyable.
Unique Experience: If the restaurant takes the feedback seriously, they could turn this around and create a truly memorable experience (for the right reasons).
Food with Music: Pairing good food with well-curated music could be an asset if done tastefully and at reasonable volumes.
Final Note
It’s evident that there’s room for significant improvement here. Loud music, rude staff, and poor food are major red flags for any restaurant. For the restaurant's management, this review should be taken as constructive feedback to make necessary changes.
To fellow diners, proceed only if you're curious or ready for a unique (and perhaps challenging) experience. And yes, carrying earplugs might genuinely be a good idea!
Recommendation: Until things improve, families and children might want to explore...

In a world where passion rules over thoughtfulness and eccentricity dominates logical reasoning, you may often find someone looking past a moving train in awe - almost a sense of dismay at the majestic beauty, praising its grandeur and magnificence. Call them a trainbuff or a rail enthusiast, the more subtle term would be that of a ferroequinologist.
A passion not unknown to the current generation, there's always a modern day 'Apu' fascinated by what's inside and how it works, the features it entails and the charisma it possesses; while I may not have been lucky enough to be witness to the first train having a dining car in India, the Darjeeling and Assam Mail which is now popularly known as the Darjeeling Mail or even travel by the only surviving train in India in the current days having a dining car - the Deccan Queen, fast forward many years in the making now since the inception of Shaan e Bhopal, the first ever broad gauge rail coach in India and even in the World, Eastern Railway now has its own dining car inside a original coach refurbished to make it look like an aesthetic restaurant resembling an erstwhile dining car.
The Imperial Kitchen located inside the Howrah Rail Museum is a one-stop wonder, made to tickle the senses of the trainbuffs. There is an outdoor sitting area apart from the indoors sporting an air conditioned dining place. The food is made fresh in the kitchen and the menu lists a variety of options, starting from appetizers to main course and beverages. Enjoy live Karaoke music as you dine inside enjoying the awe and excitement. You can also take a ride by the toy train to relive your childhood.
Call it Howrah or Kolkata, history has been witness to many such shifts in landscapes. For those in love with Railways, a Wammie (WAM 4) stands as majestic as one may find a YG Class Metre Gauge Locomotive or the now obsolete Alcos (WDM3A) or even the WCM5 - India's first DC Electric Locomotive. On a grand scale, the twin cities of Kolkata and Howrah have always shared its warmth and love and this new addition is a much welcomed introduction to the combined map of success and achievements.
