This was our 1st time @AB's. Just to mentioned we have been to barbecue nation 6 times. So we were comparing AB's to Barbeque nation. There are a few things which I found better in AB's than barbeque nation. Also will tell what I feel was not as good as barbeque nation. The things I liked in AB's - less wastage of food. What I meant is, in barbeque nation, the serving guy would just dump alot of food in ur plate, & people gets greedy & take lot of food but later won't eat resulting lots of wastage, here in AB's I am happy that the service guy is mindful of food & only after asking with us, getting it into our plate. So we felt we didn't do wastage of food in AB's. 2) excellent pricing for afternoon buffet Rs 524 per person. In barbeque nation I don't think this competitive price exist. We paid rs 1048 for 2 people

3. The staff performed dance on 4 different songs & entertain everyone. This is something I never seen before. It was really entertaining & lots of customers were appreciating their dance effort.

4. some of dishes were very good & most of the dishes appeared similar to barbeque nation. I loved their pani puri, dahi poori, chicken & fish grills & they give complementary drinks too.

5. ambience was colourful & too much decoration was done with food etc. It looked creatively good.

6. the staff was well behaved and courteous

What I didn't like in AB's

1. the place was a little suffocating, don't know why but over head lights were too many, & was not feeling comfortable under those lights. The AC was kind of low.. Was not feeling much AC.

2. There were no tissue papers, instead they kept cloth napkin. I feel in India most people prefers tissues over napkins

everything else is more or less is same as barbeque nation.

Do we visit AB's again.. The answer is yess.. Afternoon price Monday till Friday is really worth. & we understand the menu is small but it's still...

Dear Absolute Barbecues Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment following our recent visit to your Vanasthalipuram branch on October 16th, 2025, which was meant to be a special occasion, celebrating my daughter’s first birthday with my family.

Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of expectations. We found the chicken biryani to be served cold and lacking in flavor. The mutton curry was taste too bad.. Additionally, they are not serving prawns and fish items. They bring only 2 times that to 3 prawns for 1 stick. They only bringing chicken items.. We waited approximately 30 minutes for each and every item, which added to our frustration.

The vegetarian options were equally disappointing; the biryani had an unpleasant smell, indicating it may not have been freshly prepared. Furthermore, we were surprised to find a lack of vegetarian starters, including staples such as paneer and mushrooms.

Overall, for a total bill of 8,000, we expected a far better dining experience. The issues we encountered led to much disappointment within our family, especially as this was a celebration. I brought our concerns to the attention of your staff and the manager, but did not feel that they were addressed satisfactorily.

I hope you take this feedback seriously as it reflects our genuine attempt to highlight the areas that need improvement.
