A Punjabi Paradise in the Heart of Hyderabad, Made Unforgettable by Jacqueline! Stepping into Amritsar Haveli in the bustling area of Abids is like being transported straight to a vibrant, rustic dhaba in the heart of Punjab. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of tandoori spices and rich curries promises an authentic culinary journey, and I am thrilled to say it delivers on every single front. The Food (A 10/10 Experience): The menu is a glorious celebration of Punjabi cuisine. We started with the Amritsari Kulcha, which was absolute perfection—flaky, crisp on the outside, soft and generously stuffed on the inside, served with a soul-satisfying chole. The Dal Makhani was a masterpiece; you could tell it had been slow-cooked for hours, resulting in a creamy, velvety texture with a deep, smoky flavour that I will be dreaming about for weeks. The Tandoori Chicken was succulent, perfectly charred, and marinated with a blend of spices that was both bold and balanced. Every bite was a testament to authentic, high-quality cooking. And don't even get me started on the thick, creamy Lassi—it's a mandatory indulgence! The Ambiance: The decor is charmingly rustic, with Punjabi motifs, colourful seating, and an overall lively vibe that is both welcoming and energetic. It’s the perfect setting for a meal with family and friends. The Service (The True Star): What truly elevated our experience from great to absolutely exceptional was the impeccable hospitality, led by our host, Jacqueline. From the moment we were seated, Jacqueline’s warm and genuine smile made us feel like honored guests. She was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, guiding us through the menu with fantastic recommendations that were spot-on. Her passion for the food and her dedication to ensuring every guest was happy was palpable. She checked on us at just the right moments and made our entire evening feel personal and special. Service like this is rare, and Jacqueline is a true gem. Final Verdict: Amritsar Haveli is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Hyderabad craving authentic, delicious Punjabi food in a fantastic atmosphere. But it's the heartfelt hospitality, exemplified by Jacqueline, that will guarantee our return. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A...

The menu is a celebration of classic Punjabi cuisine. Their Dal Makhani and Butter Naan combo is pure comfort food, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Amritsari Kulchas are crisp, generously stuffed, and served with a side of chole and tangy chutney — absolutely delicious.
Service is quick and courteous, and the staff ensures you're well taken care of. Portion sizes are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality and experience offered.
Vegetarians will especially love this place, though non-veg options are limited or unavailable — so be aware if you're looking for meat-based dishes.

Read moreOne of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. As we entered the restaurant we could notice only three tables were occupied among all, still the manager was asking us to take the table according to his preference, specifying others are reserved. Our order was served reasonably in around 20 minutes, my husband was shockingly surprised to see the curries loaded with a lot of last minute tadka. Oil / ghee (as claimed by waiter) was swimming over curries. The quantity was no doubt very less. I had a very bad experience with the bread, as I found a small stone in it. Had miserable pain in my tooth thereafter. Onions were not served at all. Upon requesting we could get them in a randomly cut shapes without lemon wedges that too at the time when we almost finished our bread. Even parking service was unsatisfactory. Overall a...
