The "Grand Hotel Telangana," or more accurately, the "Hotel Hyderabad Grand," presents a mixed bag of experiences, largely hinging on location and individual expectations. Its prime advantage lies in its proximity to the airport, making it a practical choice for transient travelers. This convenience is amplified by its accessibility to major roads and nearby amenities, ensuring ease of movement within the city. Accommodation-wise, the hotel generally offers spacious and clean rooms, a definite plus for weary travelers. However, inconsistencies in maintenance, particularly concerning bathroom facilities, have been noted. This variability in upkeep can significantly impact guest satisfaction. Dining experiences are equally diverse. Breakfast options, while adequate for some, have drawn criticism for their limited variety and perceived lack of quality. Conversely, reviews pertaining to the "Grand Hotel" in the Abids area of Hyderabad highlight the restaurant's commendable food, especially the Hyderabadi Biryani. This discrepancy underscores the importance of specifying the hotel location when consulting reviews. The staff's cooperative and friendly demeanor is a consistent highlight, contributing positively to the overall guest experience. Their willingness to assist and address concerns is frequently mentioned in positive feedback. However, cleanliness remains a point of contention. While some guests report satisfactory hygiene standards, others have raised concerns, indicating a need for more consistent and rigorous cleaning practices. In essence, the "Hotel Hyderabad Grand" offers reasonable value, especially for those prioritizing airport proximity. However, potential guests should be mindful of the reported inconsistencies in maintenance and dining. Furthermore, it is crucial to differentiate between the various "Grand Hotel" locations within Hyderabad, as experiences can vary significantly. Therefore, careful consideration of individual needs and expectations is paramount before making a...

Read moreGrand Hotel in Koti is one of those legendary places in Hyderabad that continues to hold its charm with authentic flavors and no-frills dining. Stepping into this old and authentic biryani restaurant, you immediately sense the heritage and timeless appeal that has made it a favorite for generations.
We started our meal with some of their signature starters – the paneer starter and Apollo fish fry. The paneer was soft and well-marinated, while the Apollo fish had that perfect Hyderabadi touch – spicy, tangy, and bursting with flavor, making it a memorable beginning to the meal.
For the main course, we tried the Mutton Handi, and it was undoubtedly the star of the evening. The gravy was rich, flavorful, and cooked slowly with the right balance of spices. The mutton pieces were tender, juicy, and infused beautifully with the masala, pairing perfectly with rice and rotis.
To finish off, we indulged in desserts that added a traditional sweetness to the meal. The Double Ka Meetha was classic – soft bread soaked in milk, sugar, and dry fruits, rich yet comforting. The Firni made with bottle gourd was unique, creamy, and a pleasant surprise, offering a different texture and taste from the usual version.
What makes Grand Hotel special is not just its food, but also the nostalgic ambiance. The restaurant has retained its old-world charm, reminding you of the Hyderabad of yesteryears. The service was quick and efficient, even during busy hours, which adds to the overall experience.
