Bahar Cafe - Best Biryani Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

If there was no star as an option I would gladly have done so. Went yesterday for a family dinner. No complains about the Resturant ambiance and service. Waiter (Kamar) was excellent - possibly the only good thing of the night. Ordered Butter Chicken and roti for kids. Clearly mentioned that it should be less spicy as for kids. From the very first bite it was clear that instead of being less spicy it got tears in my eyes. Both kids were crying their eyes out due to heavy amount of spicey food. Asked it to be changed. I suppose the kitchen staff added more cream in it because the next time it was served the colour had changed. Let me mention it to the Managemnet of Cafe Bahar that adding cream does not kill the effect of spices. Anyways the kids finished two bottles of Mineral water and ended up eating masala free rice from the chicken biryani that I had ordered. Next the chicken biryani that we as adults ordered. Again no aroma nor any flavour at all. Just a big old lump of spicy masala rice. I have lived in Hyderabad long enough to appreciate a good biryani but trust me all, this thing tasted like nothing. Biryani was full of chilli 🌶 taste and nothing else. We got the food packed up and gave it all to our maid ( hope she liked it). The only that could calm my kids down was the sweet sounf that the Waiter provided in the end. Both my kids ended up finishing it all. I am writing this review the next morning, and I can still feel the spicy tingle on my tongue. Just to make you all aware about the quality of food that is being served. Pathetic and nothing else....

Had a disappointing experience. My nephew's(twins) 1st birthday party was celebrated there and it happened to be a disappointing experience.

When booking a banquet hall, we expect a chair to be provided on the stage and if it is not being provided, it should be MENTIONED while booking. We visited the hall 4-5 times before confirming the hall and there was chair on the stage but on the day during the party there was no chair and when asked they told it should be arranged by us. We had to make the kids sit on the floor on the stage

Non Veg starters were not allowed into the party hall. It is NOT MENTIONED in advance. we added a Non Veg welcome starter to the one of the Menu packages and they should have mentioned it while booking.

And when asked about all these during the party, all they told is that we did not ask them so they did not give all the details

First birthday is a very special thing for every family but it happened to be a complete disappointment and dissatisfaction with the banquet hall.

Food was OK, however management should have been...

Unfortunately by seeing the food surveys, I visited this place.

I ordered crispy veg @ Rs 250 (approximately as I don't remember price exactly). French fries coated with besan is called as crispy veg for them and they gave us this as crispy veg

Then I ordered Veg biryani (on the day of Vinayaka Chavithi festival) they brought ice cold veg biryani, I told them to get hot and fresh - with the great difficulty, they got some what Luke warm biryani.

The biryani has nothing but just fullly salted (tasting like salt) carrot and worst masala (80 % masala + 20 % rice) third time when we ask for rice, they got some rice.

To get over the saltiness of the biryani, I tried to have raitha ( which is like water) with raitha the Biryani tasted like boiled water rice.

Worst experience in life ( I hope I don't experience this...
