This is the best place for non vegetarians. It is located near TV9 office Banjara hills. This biryani wala is at the lane starting after almond house. And mostly here you can see people will be waiting for the seats 😉. My favourite food here is maragh. Then ofcourse chicken biryani. Rates are quite reasonable. Staff is very professional. Service is also quick. Place is also neat.
Now due to insufficient place , they are also constructing a new floor on top of the same restaurant. May be after that we won't see By waiting list at the doors. Along with maragh , they also give you roti if you request... That will be more different and amazing. I would say - non veg lovers do give a try here, am sure you will love it and thank me later ☺️
Review after i visited the first floor construction 😀
Hello Nonveg lovers ... Here is the best restaurant in Banjara hills beside TV9 Office . I would suggest you guys to taste biryani, maragh and non veg starters and am sure this will be one of your favourite restaurants 😊
Recently a floor has been added with very good ambience. Service is an other best part of this restaurant. Ofcourse the wait time is little bit more but when you taste the food you will forget about the waiting time 😜. . And whenever I go , all time i would see crowded here. Before there was floor added, people will be waiting for the seats but now it is sorted though. No question to think about cleanliness here... It's always the clean and safest place to have food over there. . My favourites here are mutton maragh, biryani and tandoori chicken and also deserts. We also get vegetarian here but very less items and it's better if you go for non vegetarian rather than vegetarian. Prices are also affordable.
Don't expect a finger bowl.. go to hand wash area and wash your hands (old style) .. surrounding area is also good to click pictures. There are seating arrangements for big group of people also. Comfortable Sofa seating. . So do visit , enjoy the food and thank me later 😀 . #nonveg #biryaniwallaco #restaurant #hyderabad #biryani #mutton #chicken #biryanilovers #nonveglovers #tandooritems #tikka...
Read moreGreat Food, but Slipping on Service & Cleanliness – A Mixed Experience
This restaurant offers a dual-dining experience with two distinct seating areas. The ground floor, with its 7–8 tables, provides a cozy, compact setting ideal for small families or quick meals. In contrast, the first floor is much more spacious, making it better suited for larger groups or those looking to settle in for a relaxed dining experience.
When it comes to food, there’s very little to complain about. Their Pathar ka Gosht is a standout – tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection on a hot stone slab. The Chicken 65 is crispy and spiced just right, and the Biryani hits all the classic notes of aroma, flavor, and portion. Another must-try is their Murgh Makhani (Punjabi style) – rich, buttery, and comforting. Overall, the menu is well-rounded and consistently satisfying, with most dishes living up to expectations.
However, while the kitchen delivers, the ambience and service leave much to be desired. On more than one visit, the ground floor had water leaking from the AC, which is not only unpleasant but also a safety concern. Worse, spotting a cockroach near the table and on the wall was quite alarming. Although this feedback was shared with the manager, it's unclear whether any action was taken. These hygiene lapses seriously undermine the dining experience.
Service, too, has become increasingly unreliable. The waitstaff often appear uninformed about the menu, and in some cases, completely clueless about the dishes being served. It’s a bit of a luck-of-the-draw situation — you could get a helpful, attentive server, or someone who ends up confusing orders and dampening the experience.
In conclusion, this place still holds strong culinary value, and for food alone, it's worth a visit. But unless the staffing issues and hygiene concerns are addressed, it risks turning into a hit-or-miss destination rather than a consistently great one. With some much-needed attention to training and cleanliness, it could easily return to being a top pick for...
Read moreLet's start with the food - for a place that calls itself Biryaniwalla; my expectations for Biryani were above and beyond. I was very underwhelmed by it. I've had better biryani at restaurants in the US than what they served here. My 12 year old said it best - it was gravy rice. Mutton was overcooked and chewey. Too much watery gravy made for soggy rice. They should get rid of 80% of their menu and focus on Biryanis. The chicken 65 was mediocre - dry and flavorless. Had to douse it with lemon to get any flavor out of it. The Tandoori was decent. That's probably what I'd order if I was dragged into going there again. The Kubani ka meetha was just apricots floating in some syrup. For a moment I thought they brought out gulab jamoon. Another disappointment.
Service - the wait staff was very nice and professional. The reason for the 1 star is - they didn't have glasses for water. When asked, they said they didn't have any brought out 4 glasses for a party of 12 and asked to share. The supervisor was pretty oblivious to what's happening and was forced to manage the incredible amount of people that were walking in to get seated. The handwash area was filthy. No soap in the dispenser. Restrooms were just pathetic condition.
Atmosphere - not having a proper waiting area means people were just everywhere while they were waiting to be seated. Sometimes hovering over you as if they were waiting for you to leave. Very inconvenient. Definitely not kid friendly. No high chairs. Too crowded. The wait staff was very professional...
