Royal Tiffin Centre — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I have been to this place quite a few times and it is always bustling with people. Let me tell you, the dosas here are top notch! I highly recommend trying the butter masala dosa and the paneer cheese dosa. However, be warned that the butter dosa has a little too much butter for my liking. Maybe they could consider reducing the quantity and price of butter served.

Moving on to my favorite item on the menu - the pizza dosa! Trust me, it's a game changer. And of course, you can never go wrong with a classic masala dosa. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. But I have to warn you, the ambience here is not the best. It can get quite noisy with all the traffic sounds and dust from the busy road. However, if you are arriving by car, the staff will come to your vehicle to take your order and the delivery is super fast. That's definitely a plus!

One thing that I would suggest is for the place to be a little more hygienic. Other than that, I have no complaints about the food or service. Just be prepared to wait if you are taking a token for your order. Overall, I would say it's a great place for some delicious dosas, just don't expect a fancy ambience....

For breakfast, we wound up going to the Royal Tiffin Center in Banjara Hills. I'm not typically the type to experiment with food because it triggers my IBS. But this time, I wanted to explore something new and a touch spicy for breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant while it was raining. There isn't much rush since it's a gloomy day. We ordered one plate of pasta dosa and one plate of Tawa idli. It took 20-25 minutes to complete the order. We were starving and couldn't do anything but wait for the order. The pasta dosa tasted bad, and the Tawa idli...oh god, we couldn't even eat it. Despite our disappointment, we ordered another plate of Sambar Wada, hoping that at least this one would be good. But God had another plan, and we didn't take more than a bite before throwing everything away. The interior is very small and cramped; it was not neat at all, and it provoked my OCD as well. I had to wait 25 minutes for dosa. Is this a fair wait? I was with my family and all were hungry at that time. We were made to sit in a new seating area and they were serving people who came after me which was not acceptable. After long wait, they gave 5 dosas which were completely burnt. The person was not ready to listen at all. After that disaster, I ordered tavva idly which again took 20 minutes and made too spicy. After complaining to staff, they said this is what they can give in a rude voice. Totally it was a waste and I will never ever go to Royal tiffins. I was a regular customer to that place as it is very near to my home. But after having this kind of service and worst food, I think Royal is enjoying the money by too many customers visiting but not focusing on quality and service. Well done Royal..keep it...
