Gullu Dada's Biryani Abids — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Watching Hyderabadis diaries all NRIs wish to visit the place always. I was one of them, to my surprise it was the worst experience I had. Straight after shopping at abids we headed to this restaurant, they said us to sit for dining upstairs. After taking my mom thr who usually has knee pain. I found the place to be v untidy. The washbasin to wash hands were too dirty and had no handwash. I asked them to get one, but he couldn't arrange it. The sitting area is also v untidy , unhygienic and with lots of mosquitoes.we dint even like the plates which we were served in. Now when such ambience is there how could we like the food!!! Food was also not v much impressive. Half star to restaurant, being in heart of city like abids it is damn unhygienic, unclean and untidy.. so sharukh Bhai Baar Baar videos mei nakko bolo gullu dada biryani khao bolke. Pehle restaurants saaaf kervao, khaana acha rakho aur...

After all the hype and publicity of "the Gullu Dada's Biryani", tasting Mutton Zafrani Biryani was one of the things in my to-do checklist in Hyderabad. Honestly, till my last spoon or bite I never felt like it was an actual Biryani. It was like, I was forcibly putting my senses, tastebuds to understand is it at least somewhere closer to Biryani. The aroma, spices and flavours of the authentic Hyderabad Biryani were missing. It was no where closer to Biryani. And the way they describe Juicy Mutton Pieces in Gullu Dada's Biryani was totally a myth. Addition to Biryani also tried Tandoori Chicken and Dry Fruit Halwa. Tandoori chicken was good, tasteful and properly cooked. No complaints for Tandoori Chicken. Dry Fruit Halwa was brilliant, the flavours were perfectly balanced.

Worst place to go with family. Unhygienic tables, plates and place. I have ordered mutton biryani full and tangdi kabab both at a time but waiter took around 30mins to serve biryani. He brings biryani first instead of starters. Biryani taste was okay. In the name of mutton biryani full they bring small portion of biryani which was sufficient for 2 light eaters. After completed the biryani we sat ideal for around 20mins for tangdi kabab. He then brings kabab, taste was not good and chicken was also not fresh. Getting foul smell from the chicken leg piece, manager or supervisor is not available in the restaurant to complain. I will never recommend this...
