The quality of the Jain Kitchen at Moosarambagh above Karachi Bakery has really fallen drastically. Initially, when the restaurant started they served some really good food and ambience was absolutely great. Recently, I have visited this restaurant and found it to be in a horrible state of condition. The food quality has become really bad (seems they lost their original chefs), and most worst thing is hygiene. You will find cockroaches every where, even around your plate, the restaurant now stinks hell. I really admired this place and was a regular visitor but gradually the management seems lost interest. Food - Below Average, Hygiene at its lowest ...... be careful. I hope this improves. I will surely visit the restaurant again some time to check if they have anything improved, I really loved Jeera Rice of this place but unfortunately I do not dare to have any food here unless the restaurant improves its condition and goes back to its best condition it used to be some months back. ... Let us not write it off... I will surely revisit my review after visiting the restaurant again after...
Read moreVisited this restaurant for the first time today with my family. We took Chilly Baby Corn, Butter Naan & Curries (Paneer Tikka Masala, Kaju Curry Masala & Kaju Paneer Masala), Halda Biryani..;
Except for Biryani, all other items were good in terms of taste and quality. Rice in Biryani was not cooked properly and even the flavor was not good.
Environment, Ambience was absolutely pathetic. There were cockroaches going around on the floor and a few got over the table too. We had to push them away.
After having started eating, after about 20 mins or so, noticed there were water drops falling from the ceiling. The frequency of water drop falling was very slow and hence not something that we could notice quickly as such. Attaching the photo of the same where one can notice the marking in the ceiling.
They do not have any parking and hence, if one gets there by car, it can get difficult to find parking on the street.
Overall, this place needs quite an upgrade in terms of cleanliness/hygiene, ambience and the willingness/intent to serve...
Read moreWe completely fell in love with this restaurant. The range of Menu is spellbound, Hell lot of varieties in Vegetarian only!! Used all the greens very well to carve some beautiful starters including thai flavour. We almost filled our stomach with starters itself, Items involved mushroom are a highlight, For a family of 3-4 Order platters which has 7 dishes in thai and 5 in Paneer. Try Thai/Manchow soup, both are excellent. Around 80 curries with Paneer itself and another bunch with other vegetables/thai menu better combined with Garlic/Coriander Butter Naan. Also tried Fried rice on a full stomach, But the sensational taste has made me complete my plate. It's a dream for the Founders/owners to start a restaurant and they nailed it! They are always pumped up to deliver quality to customers. Lastly,The restaurant is clean and sanitised. A must...
