When it comes to a composite of influences from many different cultures over a large expanse of time, Italian Cuisine is one such variant which has stood the test of time & is renowned mainly because of simplicity; simple recipes, quality ingredients, cooking techniques and passion. The beginnings of Italian cuisine can be traced back to ancient Rome – both the food itself and the spirit of eating. Italian cuisine has evolved and changed following the evolution and the changes of Italy itself throughout centuries of wars, cultural mutations and contacts: it’s a history as rich, colourful and fascinating as the most amazing of recipes.

To take the concept of fresh & seasonal produce rightly ahead, Jamie's Pizzeria, a brainchild of renowned British Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver, opens up its debut outlet to the land of Nizams. Launched in India in 2015 in Delhi, the Jamie Oliver restaurant umbrella marks its South Indian entry in January 2021 with this outlet situated around the upscale Jubilee Hills locality. Inside the restaurant, appetising food images as the interior highlight will keep diners engaged. We visited on the day of the launch where salads and pizzas along with the masala lemonade were runaway hits with the crowd.

Coming to the appetizers, we started with Tomato & Ricotta Crostini having a fine toasted ciabatta bread topped with a generous amount of ricotta cheese & seasoned tart tomatoes with a brushing of olive oil, an absolute hit right from the first morsel, a recommended pick from this section. Onto the chilli chicken wings having hot sauce coated in wings along with herbs did surely hit the mark, however, Flash Baked Prawns is another delightful dish to dig into without having to worry about a greasy mouth-feel. The baked chicken bites will surely hit the palate of fitness enthusiasts who sway away from deep-fried dishes, having chicken tenders coated in crumb layer, baked & served with sauce & mayo. Coming to the hand-stretched dough based pizza, which is their USP, we started off with Margherita, having parmesan and cheddar cheese along with crushed tomato sauce topped with basil leaves, a simple, no-fuss pizza which spoke loads about fresh produce. Pesto Pomodoro was up next having basil pesto sauce as the base along with onions, mozzarella & roasted mushroom, an explosion of flavours right from the first morsel, my personal fav from the menu. Chicken Peperonata is another pick from the menu, having roasted chicken chunks along with charred peppers topped with rocket leaves & oregano with a generous serving of Parmesan cheese, recommended from the menu. Rounding off with Quattro Formaggio & BBQ Chicken, a perfect hand-stretched pizza having a generous amount of topping thereby keeping a check on the taste palate as well. Winding up with desserts with some classic old-school picks, we were presented Mocha Mousse, creamy consistency of coffee flavoured mousse which is an absolute hit & may be a perfect choice to end the meal with. Lastly, it was Epic Brownie, a fudgy brownie topped with some vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce. With 16 pizza options, a handful of salad and pasta offerings, and ambience depicting the city’s culture Jamie Oliver’s can be a great place for a decadent...

A brand new place in vicinity of Jubliee Hills where good Pizza's are served where the menu is curated by World Famous Chef Jamie Oliver! As we already know that he's very well known for his culinary art and especially for Pizza, where every pizza he made is either with very simple ingredients or very few but the end result is Fabulous ❀️. Have been watching him on TV since last 5-6 years and finally Jamie's Oliver pizzeria has opened up in heart of hyderabad.

They've a pretty decent seating of 50 pax and interesting murals around and chalk board above counter where Best pizza or any special Menu us written which is easy for us to select. However you can go through menu for other options as well....

We started with #Starter's

Chilli Chicken Wings, this was nice. Spicy and tender. I would prefer less of coating here... So that I can enjoy taste of Chicken. But I enjoyed. Flash Baked Prawns, this was something new to me and I was surprised how amazing the sauce was. . Perfectly goes with Bread which is served as side and ofc the Prawns were good too!

Cheesy Garlic bread, yes nice ones πŸ‘Œ though this was cheesy but How much cheese is more cheese?πŸ˜‹

Tomato & Ricotta Crostini was my personal favourite! And I gave a next nod after every bite. Fresh ricotta and juicy tomatoes marriages very well. You can say foodgasm in mouth! MUST Try βœ….

#Pizza's

Pesto Pomodoro & Red Rocket were lil ones but packed of flavours. I somehow thought that pesto won't be that great but I was wrong after my first bite of it. Surprisingly it was better than red rocket. Red Rocket was also no less...😍

Margharita, just amaaaazing! I would say it was how it's meant to be! Simple pizza with great taste. MUST try βœ…

Chicken Makhani, here the pizza is given a new face adding Indian spices and gravy ofc chicken makhni. Tastes good, good amount of chicken chunks and mild taste of makhni with onions and cheese. But again personally I would want more of makhni and Cheese as add-onsπŸ˜„πŸ˜‰.

Chicken peperonata, this was show stopper for me. Appetising enough and veryy impressive taste. Hats off to Chef! This was with very basic ingredients like, crushed tomatoes, black olives, roasted chicken & pepper and parmesan cheese. But taste of this one was like orchestra of flavours in mouth πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‹ MUST Try βœ….

BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA, this was also good one, loaded with lots of BBQ chicken, Onion, and cheese. Personal suggestion would be to make the BBQ sauce more on Spicy side. After taste of was...

Overview Putting his name on the line can't be easy and yet Jamie Oliver has entrusted his with a line of Pizzerias across the world. Ensuring the quality is up to the mark can't be easy, particularly given the popularity of Pizzas amongst so many and the awareness many have from travelling to understand what makes a good pizza. Is it the dough? Is it the sauce? Is it the quality of ingredients? Is it the type of cheese? So much of it has to come together to make it worthy of being re-visited time and again. Well, we visited Jamie's Pizzeria in the Banjara/Jubilee Hills. Location Located on the main road separating Jubilee and Banjara Hills - Jamie's is convenient to get to and easy enough to find. Ambience Rather spacious with plenty of seating Jamie's feels airy and comfortable, ideal for families and larger gatherings where many chairs and tables can be attached easily. Food and Drink We ordered a variety of pizzas including a Pesto flavoured pizza and in my view the dough made all the difference to a wonderful tasting pizza! It helped that they used fresh and lightly added toppings the way it would be in Napoli with the weight of the slice up front needing to be folded to manage the load of the toppings and cheese. Essentially showcasing a soft enough pizza base that makes it easy to bite off and relish. One of the highlights is the slight dust residue on the finger tips ensuring you are getting near Neopolitan like representation. I was then later informed that you can specially order a Napoli style pizza that brings you the authentic pizza from Naples, the land where it originated from - something to be desired on our next visit. To compliment the pizza, we ordered lemon ginger beer mocktail, which frankly reminded me more of ginger ale and less of the beer bit - so not sure where the name comes from? Summary Overall the taste of pizza was great, the ambience was roomy and comfortable and as outlets go - this one is highly recommended for a nice pizza sit...
