Chubby cho An amazing restaurant in Jubilee Hills serving mouthwatering Chinese and Asian cuisine is chubby cho.Situated on the the 3rd floor in the same building of fat pigeon, this place is a must visit restaurant .Amidst a bunch of upcoming restaurants in and around Jubilee Hills, this one sets up its level high with the quality, taste and presentation of the the food. This pretty place has classic ambience with colourful tables and cute seating .This place can accommodate upto 70-80 at once and has only indoor seating. I’ve been to this place with a group of foodie friends of mine for lunch . The staff at this place are courteous and friendly. This place has a well stocked up bar counter which servers refreshing drinks with mind blowing presentation.

Food: Jasmine tea: This refreshing drink is a complimentary drink served at this place to each and every customer. This drink is served hot and has great aroma and flavour of jasmine which gives you a kick start to dine at this place.

Tom kha soup: This chicken based creamy ,rich and flavour soup has a whole different level of taste with a perfect balance of Thai flavours. This is a must try soup at this place.

Down town Shanghai : This is a eye candy drink at this place. The presentation of this drink is just amazing with a glass jar covering the drink in smoke. This is a whiskey based cocktail and is a must try at this place.

Dragon roll sushi : The most popular and tastiest sushi is the dragon roll sushi which were beautifully presented at this place. They had a wonderful flavour and this is a must try at this place.

Sriracha mushroom: Sriracha sauce being a pop up spicy sauce among others was blended perfectly with mushroom which gave the taste buds a pop up flavour. This dish was spicy and bit tangy with mild flavour of soya sauce.

Devils chicken : A perfect starter with drinks oozing out a fantastic flavour on every bite with a extraordinary level of spice is a must try at this place!

Chilli chicken oil dimsum: Beautifully presented in cane baskets with fumes piping out as soon as you open up the lid is a perfect and eye candy presentation of any dimsum. These glossy looking chilli chicken stuffed dimsum were a pack of flavour which are a must try.

Assorted non veg dimsum: These assorted non veg dimsum looked great with various colours popping out of the cane basket.Almost all the dimsum were delicious.

Orange infused chicken : Orange infused fish is one of my favourite dish and now orange infused chicken has added up to the list. The mild citrus flavour blended with a bit of spicy to the tender chicken made this dish a fantastic one.

Mustard fish: The fish was tender, soft and had perfect amount of mustard taste. The mustard was added in a very less quantity which had given the fish a really great flavour.

Chilli garlic noodles : Yes!This is my favourite and basic dish at this place which is a must try. This dish will not disappoint you ! With perfect amount of veggies and blend of garlic flavour it was a pretty good meal!!

Deserts: The Great Wall of chocolate cannoli is the best and must try desert at this place!!!

Chubby Cho is a newly opened place in Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills. In the mood for some authentic Pan-Asian experience, head over to this place now. The ambiance is very creative with rustic cobbled flooring, wooden painted walls, Bamboo windows, beautiful paintings, Chinese decor, quirky and colourful interiors, which gave the place a spunky Asian Village look. Utmost care is given to the interiors with different seating arrangements from the vibrant street section to a private dining area to enjoy the relaxed meal. Coming to the food, be it sushi, appetizers, or a classic bowl of Ramen, Chubby Cho takes your palate on a journey through the authentic Pan Asian food.

We started off with:

Paneer Twister Bao - These are something you should definitely try if you visit this place. The stuffing was made of paneer and was perfect in taste and the baos were soft and fresh.

Chilli Vegetable Dimsums - Loved them totally. Worth a try.

Sriracha Mushroom - The mushrooms were crispy from the outside and this tasted delicious.

Paneer Cottage Cheese - I totally loved this. The spices were perfect and the cottage cheese were fresh and soft. A must try definitely.

We were served a number of mocktails and all of them were refreshing and beautifully presented. The flavours of each mocktail was perfect.

For the main course , we were served :

Human Sauce with Garlic Rice - I didnt think I would like this but the spices and flavors of hunan sauce just blew my mind and when I had it with Garlic rice , it was a perfect meal .

Spicy Korean Ramen Bowl - To my surprise , I really loved it. It had all sorts of veggies and noodles it it and was amazing.

Then , the desserts served to us were :

Water Chestnut Rubbies - Just blew my mind. You cant miss this if you visit this place.

2 Banana Tempura Hot Chocolate - If you are looking for a unique dessert, this is the one you should definitely try and you'll not be disappointed.

Overall , this a beautiful place with some amazing and lip-smacking food and for someone who loves pan-Asian cuisine, this is the place you should...

It was a busy Sunday afternoon, to say the least! Chubby Cho was bustling with an energy of those enjoying their Sunday brunch/lunch at this Asian themed restaurant. Excellent interiors with authentic touches like being served tea before beginning a meal, chopsticks to enjoy your meal in and a range of traditional asian flavours to choose from. We ordered a couple of sushi plates (crab and prawn) which were refreshing and well prepared. The crab had a unique texture unlike anything I had tasted before and contrasted well with the wasabi/soya dip for that traditional sushi mouthful. (Similar to feeding on a gol guppa and relishing the senses on your taste buds. Interestingly, something new as to me was the fact you can get your Ramen bowl split so you can experience more variety! We then finished our meal with a Spicy Chicken Ramen Bowl which really had some kick to it. While my friend wasn't able to get through all of the spice concoction residue and finish his bowl in entirety due to the spice level, he enjoyed the egg, chicken and noodle combination with all it had to offer. We will be careful to clarify the spice level a bit better the next time we visit. Also, not sure if that is standard spice for the Japanese or was the Ramen adapted keeping in mind a localised palate need? (Read: Telangana Spice/Guntur Chilly benchmarks) The service was a tad bit slow, despite the crowd getting less as we completed our meal - but overall the staff was kind and provided appropriate recommendations. The ambience was excellent and we look forward to our next visit to try the variety of dishes available at Chubby Cho! Highly recommended for those looking...
