We have been visiting Hashi for almost 2 years now. Good part is food is good specially on weekends when crowd is good, and most of the time we visited on saturdays or sundays.
But the sad part is the consistency. 7out of 10 times food was good and 3 times average or less.
Last friday we visited thinking to have our favorite sushi, dimsums, noodles and chicken. But this time I was totally disappointed.
Sushi - Tempura fried prawn sushi - This was not at all what we ate everytime. Rice was warm!!!!! Who eats a warm sushi? Roll was not made tight, as we picked up, everything from inside fell while eating
Waterchestnut and Chicken Sushi - Absolutely tasteless, I had to eat it with the sauce accompaniments otherwise it was a complete blant. No salt, no spice, nothing
Chili oil chicken dimsums- This has been our favorite everytime, but I dont know if their chef has changed!!? outside the potato starch was raw and again less salt and very blunt taste.
Meanwhile the chicken stater came, I was expecting the same with noodles.
Service team, 6people were chitchatting and no one was there to look at the table. We felt taken for granted!!!!!!!
Chicken starters (dnt remeber the name) was ok but served cold and a timid portion compared to the price being charged of 400 ++ . Are you guys selling gold?
At last hope was the basil noodles which usually tastes good. The service guy omes and keeps it on table. No one to change plates. Most probably he wuld have served the same in the side plate if we had not asked to change.
Noodles, absolutely blunt. We used to order this everytime becasue of the intense basil and chili flavor, and this was pathetic. We had to eat to fill ourselves but not at all happy.
Last and no the least - we were charged of extra dises we did not order. They may have felt lests chaeat on these guys. They usually do not check bills.
Then final bill was given and finally said credit crad is not working. Pay by cash or upi. VERY DISAPPOINTING
We have decided this to be our last visit in Hashi, because staff do not care and food has degraded drastically.
May be we will have to find an alternate now. But Thank You Team Hashi for the last 2 years of...

All the Sushiholics, this place is definitely your place to hog onto!
AMBIENCE: The ambience is cute. The place isn't huge but can accommodate around 40 to 50 people at a time. The have an open kitchen which definately an eye catcher.
Let's talk about food now!
FOOD:
•Zucchini Capriccio ( zucchini slices served with in-house sauce) - cold subtle flavours infused in zucchini slices was surely a light and comfy way to start our meal. Tasted decent.
•Shake Aburi Nilgiri ( Nilgiri Sushi with flame seared salmon ) - This Tasted amazing with the sauce served to us.👌👌
•EBI Tempura Uramaki ( Batter fried prawns in a Sushi roll) - Not a prawn person but liked it a lot because of the crispiness of the prawns.
•Fresh Summer roll - Moist Sushi roll stuffed with chunks of chicken! Loved it💛
•Broccoli and water chestnut Dimsum - Didn't like it much because the stuffing had nuts in it. Wasn't expecting that, it tasted a lil odd to me.
•Tori Katsu Uramaki ( panko-fried chicken in a Sushi roll) - Flavourful chicken chunks stuffed in sushi rolls topped with a sauce. Every ingredient complimented each other so well.💥
•Tori Karaage (japanese fried chicken with spicy Tonkatsu sauce) - BEST BEST BESTTT! The fried chicken was palate pleasing with the Tonkatsu sauce! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ✨
•Chicken and coriander Dimsum - Chicken pieces were delicious! Loved this Dimsum 💯
•Shake tobiko gunkan ( Battleship suchi with salmon and flying fish roe) - Was a lil disappointing 😶
•Chicken and Chilli Oil Dimsum - It was spicy just the way I like it to be! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ✨
•Thai green curry with Jasmine Rice - Creamy and lots of veggies with Jasmine Flavoured rice... This was amazing 👌👌 •Pad Thai Noodles - It tasted a lil sweet which was a disappointment.🙄
•Chilli Basil noodles - Amazing Flavours! must must, must try!💥
•Mango Sticky Rice - Delicious rice topped with mango peices!👌
SERVICE: Staff was quick and attentive! Spot...
Read moreI want to give a zero..but that's not possible so I give you a 1. We went here yesterday (A group of five) to have dinner. This was our first time here. When we reach by 10:30 they told us..its near their closing time so we must order all at once as it was their last order (Which obviously wasn't). So we did exactly that and waited for our food..it was some rice, noodles, curry and some drinks nothing fancy or special that'll take a lot of time to make, obviously, because we were aware of the time. The guy managing the front desk I guess wearing white shirt literally turned off our lights..the area where we five were sitted (4 senior Army officers plus me). We weren't drunk or even loud at all. But he kept the area where a guy with his children were eating, turned on. We told our server to please turn on the lights as it was very dim and he asked the guy to turn on the lights of our area but the guy said something and ignored. The server couldn't even look at us after that as our request was denied. We waited for a long time while they were serving other people their foods who were sitted outside..so basically we weren't their last customer. We told another server to please turn on the lights and he did because the "manager" wasn't there so he did it himself. The "manager" came back and looked astounded for some reason as if someone did something wrong against him. We got our foods and ate and left. We have never ever experienced such unprofessionalism and rude behavior in the field of hospitality industry even from the smallest hotels/stalls. I hope you do better in the future. Do remember the staffs and the services are what makes a hospitality...
