Lucky Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I went to a lucky restaurant after a decade. Which is at madhapur. Near madhapur police station . 10 years back it was a small place with aluminium walls and the ceiling. Now The place has been renovated, they took a new building with 3 floors. Downstairs they have put so few stalls like juice center, pan shop and tandoori stalls. The ground floor is a normal seating with normal prices. In 1st floor there is family section aside and mandi room sections. In the family section there are 10 tables for seating. Ambience is not that great. I asked them what is special in lucky, they suggested me to take chiken biryani instead of mutton biryani. Had chicken biryani, it tastes good and quantity was also fine with the price mentioned. We ordered tandoori chicken but it is not soft and tender. Chicken was little hard. Washrooms are worst. No proper maintaince. No parking available. Need to park on the road. Thought of ordering sweets like kadhu ka kheer, kurbani ka meeta, double ka meeta. But they are not fresh. They are frozen so didn't order it. Better to avoid sweets here. If you are looking for chicken biryani and with a group of people or if u want to try mandi biryani then need to come and visit. Otherwise not worthfull. But still it is a budget friendly restaurant. Lift service is available but lifts are not working. Service is okay. Not professional servers. Over all...

Food was fine, I ordered punjabi chicken and most of the pieces were burnt. Rice were not warm and it took then 15 min to bring rice. We ordered approximately of 600/- and decided to eat some dessert we bought from outside after eating food there. When some guy on the counter saw us, he came to us and asked rudely if we ordered it from his place, we said no to which he started angrily saying that " it was mentioned in menu you are not allowed to eat from outside here". To which when we said that "we didnt know as we didn't read in menu", he again repeated same thing as if he's threatening.

And we left our dessert in between packed it and went away. We didn't read in menu, i mean do you read menu like a book, each and every line from each and every page?

He could have politely said it, but he was just so rude. They shouldn't run such business if they don't know how to handle such moments, we weren't there to fight just eat. I don't recommend this to anyone neither will I ever go to this place again.

I recently dinedand it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of modern and cozy decor. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we walked in.

The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was well-prepared and flavorful. The food was a standout—perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, making it well worth the price.

While the food was excellent, there was a slight delay in service during peak hours, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for it.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed setting. I’ll be returning soon to try more...
