Extravagantly Priced Gourmet 'Delights' Fail to Impress Step into this culinary gem in the heart of the city, where the prices soar to dizzying heights, promising an unparalleled dining experience. Brace yourself for a culinary journey that will leave your wallet lighter and your taste buds scratching their heads in confusion. As you peruse the menu, prepare to be astounded by the audacity of the pricing strategy. Yes, that's right, you can indulge in the street food classics you love, but be prepared to pay three times the going rate for the privilege. Because who needs financial sensibility when you can have fancy presentation, right? And oh, the presentation! Each dish arrives at your table like a work of art, meticulously crafted to impress. But alas, the taste fails to live up to the hype. It's as if the flavors took a detour on their way to your palate, leaving you wondering if you accidentally stumbled into a parody of fine dining. But fear not, for the service is here to save the day! With a smile plastered on their faces, the staff valiantly attempt to justify the unjustifiable, assuring you that your exorbitant expenditure is worth every penny. Yet, deep down, you can't shake the feeling that you've been had. In summary, if you're in the mood for a good laugh and have money to burn, by all means, give this place a try. But if you value your taste buds and your bank account, you're better off sticking to the humble delights found on the streets. After all, why pay three times the price for a culinary experience that's more style than substance?

Wanted to go to Gokul Chat but heard from some that even Maharaja Chat is also good. Ordered Maharaja Special - Rs120 (2 deep fried Aloo Tikka with masala and chutneys) Paav baaji - Rs 120 Pani Puri - Rs 50 (8 pieces) Chikkoo Shake - Rs 100 Orange juice - Rs 120 Spicy food lovers would definitely love this place. Aloo Tikka was very spicy and was fully bursting with flavors and spice. Paaj baaji was also really good with properly toasted 2 buns and gravy. Pani puri is the best I had there. Hats off to the guy who serves pani puri there. Even if he is giving pani puri to 10 people at a time you never feel that level. He was soo fast and expert in that. Finally I saw people like they are asking him to stop giving as they were full or could not control the spice. But he was insisting them to have 8 of them Juices are also fresh and worth. Cons: Very long waiting time for juice even though our juice is ready the person over there just keeps it there and will be busy with something else instead of just giving it to us. By that time another waiter will come and take it to people who are waiting in the car may be. Finally we had to shout to get our juice so did others as well.

If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Indian street food, this chat and panipuri spot is a must-visit. From the moment you arrive, the vibrant aroma of freshly prepared chutneys and spices hits you, setting the stage for a mouthwatering experience. The panipuri is the star here — crisp, perfectly filled, and served with tangy, spicy water that packs a punch. They offer multiple spice levels, so whether you like it mild or fiery, there’s something for every palate. The chat varieties are just as impressive. From aloo tikki to dahi puri and ragda patties, every dish is prepared fresh and served with a balance of crunch, creaminess, and spice. The ingredients feel hygienic and high-quality, which makes a huge difference. Portions are generous, and pricing is budget-friendly. The staff is polite, quick, and keeps the counter clean even during peak hours. The place tends to get crowded in the evenings, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Overall, it's a great place for both quick bites and casual catch-ups with friends or family. If you're a fan of street food, this spot delivers the real taste of India — crisp, spicy, and absolutely addictive!

This was my third visit to this place, as I'd visited before with friends and always wanted to take my mom, as she enjoys having chat.

We went on a Monday and as expected we couldn't find space to park our car. We had to park a little further and walked to this place. Something we usually dont notice while we park our vehicles and have the option of dining in our vehicles is how badly planned the parking space is actually! The space leading to the parking and the parking space itself is not evenly spread out with a lot of stones and little rocks and hence is definitely not convenient to go on foot. With the kind of footfalls this place usually packs in, the management could easily have sorted this, but disappointingly they've done little to nothing over the years!

We had pani puri, pau bhaji, samosa chat and dahi chat, along with some juices. We also decided to get the special pau bhaji packed for my dad. The service is decent and we had to wait a while as there was a lot of rush at the pani puri counter.

One thing we noticed is this place has no restriction for pets! One customer walked in with her pet puppy dog, which was all over the place along with the owner. While the pet could be dear to its owner, bringing it along to an eatery and freely moving all over the place is a bit much!

The fact that I had an upset stomach later just confirmed my doubts regarding the quality and cleanliness of this place!

We are definitely NOT visiting this place again, neither recommending it to anyone else! Very disappointed with...

So there was a tournament near by which me and my friends took part in and this was a recommended place for a quick snack.

Chat: Dahi papad Bhel puri Maharaja Spl. Aloo toast Pav bhaji

Cheese Mushroom Sandwich Paneer Mushroom Sandwich

Pani puri

Drinks: Watermelon Mojito Kiwi fields Normal Mojito

The drinks are nice

Pani puri did not have enough stuffing and the water is one dimensional with only taste of jeera. Maybe more greens like coriander, some little more spices ... lots of space to improve.

The other chat items are above average ..... the maharaja special, we all liked a lot and is definately worth it. The aloo toast is a single toast ... i usually see double toast in other chat places.

The sandwiches are very filling but slightly one dimensional ... no matter what you order they all have corn, peppers [capsicum], and similar sauce.... the side serving of green chutney is nice but not the ketchup and mayo. This is a classic example of sometimes less is better. More focus should be on the order like give me mushrooms more than other stuff and good cheese ... if I wanted corn I would have gone for that sandwich

The drinks are nice and refreshing... really fresh feeling.

Overall, it is a little expenisve and not all the items are great, some are great and worth it while others are not so. parking can be a little issue but for a quick meal it is a good place with decent sanitization but long queue. I will return for the juices and maharaja...
