Minerva Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Hyderabad

We had a really bad experience here on 5th May, Sunday (Necklace Road/ Eat Street). We visited this outlet a few minutes before 10 pm and already many menu items got over- which is not unusual on Sundays and Summer holidays. But what surprised us that while they did not have 2 pcs of idli, they accepted the order, but they substituted one with a vada and gave it. They did not get the idli out of the steamer. The last piece was already made and kept in a vessel. The chutney was made last minute I think as it was without salt and not the usual texture. These things are ok to some extent fine. But what happened is that the family member who ate this order took ill the very next morning. What seemed like a stomach upset and indigestion did not seem to end despite 2-3 days of medication. On taking further medical advice, as the condition was not getting better, they treated it for food poisoning. This was least expected from the house of Minerva. We could not have ordered anything safer than idli. The health condition went so bad that it started seeming quite serious. This branch of the restaurant needs to tighten itself for better food order management, food safety and hygiene. @Minerva - please don't take orders if you not sure or if there is a even smallest of a chance for food spoilage/ variation. Not expected at all from such an established name. This is a first hand feedback- one of the very first in so many years.

Minerva has been a part of our life for so many years. We have never had any safety issues in the past.... More branches or crowd should not compromise food...

Worst Worst Worst,I have ever saw. Staff are very arrogant, laughing on customers with negative comments. Non hygienic food with bad smell, least quality of food, as other persons also were complaining, closing before time by keeping all stuff inside, these 3 staff shown at counter in photo need to be replaced and to advise chef to prepare fresh food, and Management has to be changed, I asked them for their superiors to talk , they denied and not provided contact...

You want to pay for your death? Please go this place because they have the best coffee in town. Acid coffee. Make sure you pay for the coffee and get free loose motions, stomach pain, motion sickness, fits for free. The place is maintained so unhealty. The staff is so rude. Everything about this place is rubbish. Ban this...
