After searching for an elegant yet family-friendly luxury dinner spot in central Hyderabad, Aish at The Park stood out as the perfect choice. With limited upscale options outside of star hotels that don’t veer into West Hyderabad’s extravagant price range, this turned out to be a fantastic decision.
We booked a table for six through Zomato for a Thursday evening at a generous 30% discount, making the celebration of my uncle and aunt’s wedding anniversary feel extra special. We wanted an experience that felt both refined and memorable—with every detail thoughtfully taken care of—and Aish certainly delivered.
Value & Experience For the six of us, the final bill was ₹8,500—but thanks to the discount, we paid approximately ₹1,000 per head, while the experience felt more like something twice that price. The rich, meticulously curated Mughal cuisine was absolutely outstanding.
Ambiance & Location Prime central location with scenic views of Tank Bund. Valet parking in a star hotel setup, adding to the convenience. A welcoming porch and well-maintained interiors, despite the hotel showing some signs of age. Aish is easy to find—located on the third floor. While reservations on a Thursday may not be essential, booking via Zomato or Swiggy is highly recommended, especially to claim the 20–30% discount.
Dining Experience The Mughal-themed interiors were beautifully done—arguably even better than ITC Kohenur’s setup. The waitstaff were exceptionally professional, with special mention to Manager Aditya, who ensured an impeccable experience, even accommodating vegan options for my wife.
A slight downside was the live ghazal music—while soulful, it was too loud for the space, making conversation a challenge. We managed, but it required extra effort to be heard.
Food Highlights Paneer Tikka – An absolute must-try. Garlic Naan, Dal Makhani, Tawa Tarkari, Veg Dum Biryani – Each dish was crafted to perfection. Qubbani ki Meetha – Their unique take on this dessert was delightful.
We were even able to bring our own cake, and the team played background music to set the mood, making our celebration feel truly special.
Final Thoughts Between the impeccable service, excellent food, and remarkable value, Aish at The Park is highly recommended, especially for special occasions. If you're looking for an elevated experience that doesn’t break the bank yet feels indulgent, this is the...
Read moreI recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Aish - The Park and opted for the set menu Ishq-e-Moti. Here's an honest review of our dinner experience.
Ambiance (4.5/5): The ambiance at Aish is undoubtedly one of its strongest points. The restaurant exudes a pleasant and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for a special occasion like a birthday celebration. The use of pearls in the décor adds a touch of elegance, and overall, the setting contributes positively to the dining experience.
Service (4/5): The staff at Aish are commendably polite and welcoming. We were greeted with pearls, setting the tone for a memorable evening. However, one drawback was the pace at which the food was served. Although the staff was courteous, the food items arrived at the table slower than expected, causing a slight hiccup in an otherwise smooth service.
Food (2/5): While the ambiance and service had promising starts, the same cannot be said for the food, particularly the Ishq-e-Moti set menu. The soup, though average in taste, was overshadowed by the disappointment that followed. The mutton piece, tender as requested, was a saving grace. However, the kebabs, though flavorful, were spicier than expected.
The most significant letdown was the presentation and taste of the mains served in a Thali. This departure from the Hyderabadi Cuisine culture was not well-received, and the taste failed to make up for it. Unfortunately, we found the entire Thali unpalatable, prompting us to set it aside.
Desserts did not redeem the meal either, as they turned out to be a regrettable choice, lacking the expected sweetness and flavor.
Overall (2.5/5): In summary, Aish - The Park offers a beautiful ambiance and polite service, but the dining experience took a nosedive with the disappointing food, particularly the unconventional Thali presentation and lackluster desserts. While the restaurant has its merits, there is room for improvement in the culinary department to match the elevated standards set by the ambiance...
Read moreWent for a family lunch on Saturday afternoon (Oct 29, 2022). There were hardly 8 tables occupied (including our). We decided to do a la carte order and the service was really slow and the appetizers (Mixed Non Veg platter) were not hot, they were just warm. Only the Dum Biryani came hot. When I ordered an additional Biryani it was mentioned it would take 20-25 minutes so I'm not sure why it takes that long to serve a Biryani (To cook Biryani it will take more time than 25 mins so not sure).
On Saturday afternoon they should have enough Biryani prepared to get them out as soon as possible but that was not the case.
We checked in at 1:40 PM and finished with our lunch at 3:00 PM and then kept waiting on the bill for almost 30 minutes. When I requested the server for the bill and that's when he mentioned they have some issue with their machine and they are working on it and will be resolved in 20-25 mins. The issue was not resolved so they manually keyed in the bill and provided the details. Most of the food items were just marked as "Open Food" with the amount for each line item.
Then comes another issue. They tried to swipe my credit card and after 60-80 secs the server showed me the Transaction had been cancelled and requested another card which we gave two additional the same issue. I even asked the server (Hemanth) if they have an issue with their credit card system and they straight away declined it. He mentioned that they do not accept international credit cards. So I just ended up paying the bill in cash for lunch. So just carry enough cash if you plan to dine here as their system doesn't work. Checked my credit card today and I noticed that my credit card has been charged with the transaction of "The Park" hotel. Here is the Guest No # 36AAACB7961L1ZB -- 327 AFROZ.
I have raised a dispute with my credit card company. This is just another hassle to dine at this location. I am not going back over...
