Mumbai Masalaa: A Vegetarian Paradise in Hyderabad!
If you’re on the hunt for an all-vegetarian dining experience that ticks all the boxes, look no further than Mumbai Masalaa. With two branches in Hyderabad—one in Narayanguda and the other at Sindhi Colony—this restaurant is a hidden gem that combines classic street food with a fine dining twist.
What I Tried: The menu here is incredibly diverse, catering to all types of taste buds. I started my meal with the must-try Vada Pav, which brought authentic Mumbai street vibes to the table. The Cheese Pav Bhaji was equally flavorful and is perfect if you’re a fan of comfort food.
I couldn’t resist diving into some of their signature dishes like the Paneer Butter Masala—rich, creamy, and just the right balance of spices. Paired with the Aloo Dum Biryani, this was a match made in heaven. For those who enjoy a variety of flavors, I recommend the Cottage Cheese Green and the Chinese Platter, both of which offer something unique and delicious. If you love tandoori, their Tandoori Platter is also a standout!
I was also impressed by the Dahi Wada—light, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. The tangy yogurt combined with the soft wada was a delight for the palate.
For drinks, the Sweet Chilli Guava Mocktail was a refreshing change, and the variety of mocktails on the menu is perfect if you’re looking to try something new.
To end my meal on a sweet note, I had the Apricot Delight, which was absolutely divine. It’s one of those desserts that you simply can’t skip if you’re dining here.
Jain Options & Combos: One of the best things about Mumbai Masalaa is that they also serve Jain food options, so everyone is catered for. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, they’ve got combos and a hearty North Indian thali that’s both filling and flavorful.
Ambiance & Events: The ambiance here is cozy and inviting, making it ideal for everything from a casual dinner to special celebrations. In fact, Mumbai Masalaa is a great spot for kitty parties, birthday celebrations, corporate get-togethers, and more. The team even offers special packages for these events, making it super convenient for anyone looking to host a gathering.
Final Thoughts: If you haven’t been to Mumbai Masalaa yet, it’s time to add it to your list of must-visit vegetarian spots in Hyderabad. Whether you’re in the mood for North Indian classics or something a little more street-style, this place has something for everyone. Plus, with its warm ambiance and variety of offerings, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
