The raj kachori was filled with the tasty curd, onions, tomatoes, boiled aloo, cucumber, sweet chutney, green chutney which were combined in a perfect and balanced quantity and which gave a perfectness to the dish.
Among pastas we tried red sauce and white sauce pastas. The white sauce pasta could have some more spices like oregano and chilli flakes and the red sauce pasta was good.

Read moreIt's always a pleasure to go dine in a themed restaurant, but a full on Bollywood themed restaurant is a whole Jhakaas experience, that's exactly what it was with this deli.
Before entering the restaurant itself we can spot a box office ticket counter which sets the mood to experience the Filmyness inside, So the moment I entered the restaurant I could see a couple of mannequins dressed all set for the "pyaar hua ikraar hua" song, and there are more scenes recreated by these Mannequins which almost look human.
Talking more about the ambience, it's a huge dining hall surrounded with movie posters and mannequins recreating famous movie scenes and a well arranged buffet setup with delicious dishes named after Bollywood movies and characters.
Started the meal with the welcome drinks Strawberry Juice and Orange Juice.. Strawberry tasted really good, then we ordered the featured Mocktails Pinnocolada, Blue Lagoon and Cucumber Cooler... Cucumber cooler stands out with a refreshing taste and lovely presentation.
Then we had a sweet ride of starters, started with Tandoori Chicken Kebab, Paneer Tikka and Veg Wonton..the chicken Kebab tasted very delicious and and it was cooked so well with a good balance of flavours. Then next best thing was the Coriander chicken, the green color looks so palatable and it tasted so good and was very soft in mouth.. coming to the sea food there was Tawa Fish which has a pretty good flavour and the Fish Tikka which was decent.
Before going to the main course, we had some authentic Rajasthani food since there was an ongoing Rajasthani food festival features Daal baati Churma, Dhokla and Khandvi, it was the first time I had these and they were pretty decent.
Then exploring main course, I had Roti with spoonfuls of laal Maas(Mutton Curry), Mix Veg Curry, Murgh ka Sweeta, Panchgutta(a Veg Rajasthani dish), among them Murgh ka Sweeta tasted the best, Laal Maas was okayish and the biggest disappointment was the Rajasthani dish it tasted bland and lacked the flavour.
Yet the restaurant got it's redemption with their delicious Mutton Biryani with succulent mutton pieces and good amount of fried onions, I absolutely love the flavor and kept the satisfaction meter back to the top. In the end I Tasted a few items from their Chaat counter the Raj Kachodi tasted good amongst them.
Ended the meal with Baked Gulab Jamun, Jauzi Halwa and a Brownie blended stone ice cream.. three of them tasted really well and it was a great end to the heavy buffet meal I've had. Overall this is a must visit restaurant for it's amazing filmy ambience with good varieties of food, great choice for a get together with friends and family.
The whole buffet costs around 629/- which seems a lil reasonable for the food and good service they provide.

As soon as you enter you are welcomed by the very Mannequin of Helen ji in her Golden cage and the golden aura she depicts!
Dwelling in the theme of Movies and its posters, visually as well the restaurant is eye catchy giving us the feel of having a great meal amongst some amazing movies of those times and recalling the childhood incidents like ‘Hey, I had been to this movie, ‘ oh I had been to the other one too!’ Topping it, the live music they have is surreal!
The huge spread of their Buffet is quite appealing and equally delicious! They ensure that both Vegetarians and the Non-Vegetarians enjoy the meal course equally!
From sheer salads to ice-creams, desserts and to a no. of various Breads, Rice items, curries and Biryani, Ohri’s 70 mm never let me down!
My goodness, the mutton curry they make is worth drooling! I most often have it with some hot rice and satiate!
Biryani is everyone’s favourite and so is mine! The Mutton or Chicken Biryani of the meal is placed in a huge vessel and is always on Dum! The flavours are intact when we go and grab some every time!
The chicken tikka kabab, the Fish Fry, the Fish Tikka are some one the yummiest starters on their spread! Well, well, on the Vegetarian front, their Veg Manchuria Dry and of course the Paneer Tikka is equally tasty!
Missing out on some Authentic Pappu and Chaaru (Dal and Rasam) ? Well, don’t be! They also have these for us, never leaving any stone unturned! Fried dishes like, Okra Fry, Tinda Fry are also présent to satisfy our crunch!
My personal favorite is the Chat counter and the Hot hot Jalebi station! Oh, the thought itself is mouth-watering!
Being a huge chat lover, their version of Raj Kachori is super delicious! They also serve Aloo chat, Pav Bhaji, Dahi Papdi etc
Just imagine Hot Hot Jalebis falling right into your tastebuds! Isn’t it so calling? Well, yes! Their ‘then and there’ made Jalebis is a delight!
Well, well! Don’t miss to visit Ohris 70 mm near Necklace Road, Tank Bund!...
