Went here on a treat by my roommate, and this place turned out to be too good, both ambience as well as food wise.
We took the buffet which was priced at 650 per person. Decent pricing considering the variety of dishes available and the fact that you can eat unlimited coz of a buffet.
Started off with Golgappe. Firm and crunchy golgappe with aam panna and aloo ka masala were just something to die for. I was so happy to finally get good Golgappa in Hyderabad. Next up was the Namak Para. Tried it for the first time and although the nimki had turned a bit soft because of the curd but the taste brought out of this chaat was simply lovely. The sweet, sour and spice came about distinctly in every bite. Moved on to Achari Paneer next with salad and Alfredo Pasta. The Paneer had pretty rich flavour with all the spices blended in together. The pasta was pretty simple with the seasoning and the sauce was pretty creamy to go with it nicely. Went on to Cheese Balls and Crispy Chilli Potato which were cooked pretty decently. Tried baked brinjal next which was like a Lasagna made of Brinjals. The taste was okay but the lasting impact on the mouth was not so pleasant. Idk if they didn't cook. it well or Cheese and Brinjal just don't go well together 😬. Mainly tried Indian food on the main course: Nizami Handi, Dal Makhani, Paneer Lababdar with Veg Biryani and Butter Naan. The Dal Makhani was the best of the lot and complimented the Naan really well, they also had the option to add extra ghee which just made it all a rich experience. Rest of the dishes were decent enough, like they should be, nothing very extraordinary and I liked it. Really liked the variety in the desserts. Pretty much tried everything but the Phirni and Kalakand were the ones that stood out for me. Perfectly balanced sweet taste, nothing too much on the tongue. They both complimented each other very well.
Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend it for families, office dinners or even a hangout with friends. Perfect for a group having more vegetarian people, and for people complaining Hyderabad doesn't have enough good vegetarian places, do try this one, you won't be...

While I am writing this email, we are 17 pax having lunch at Jalpan restaurant, Somajiguda
We requested for water and we’re informed that only bottled water is available on chargeable basis
We informed about practice at other restaurant where already one bottle per pax is given free and late charged for it
We discussed with manager but he was adamant on not providing free water neither tap water. He informed even tap water is chargeable
The manager Nishit seems adamant and arrogantly informed us that we can complaint once we receive the bill
He also cited reason that since restaurent is paying for maintenance which also includes water charges hence it’s not free
Then what about electricity, do you switch off light when customers come in……do you close the bathroom and not let them use because that also uses water more than we drink
We checked the bottled water and found to be manufactured by local company
The MRP is also higher, 30 rupees for 500 mL which is extremely higher than market price
I suggest you talk to your team and advice them for free provision of water to all customers
Bringing to your notice the issue which we will take up with concerned authorities without fail and with testing report of sealed bottled water which we are taking along with us as sample
Also we will ensure that it is spread on all social...
Read moreAs we were craving for veg food and we actually trusted Google reviews for best veg restaurant and went there , ordered Tandoori rotis and veg tawa sabzi, the price was about 400 for the sabzi itself even the 5 star hotels inhouse restaurant serve veg dish around 350 that too with rich gravy and 60 per plain tandoori roti, I was expecting for the best as we are paying substantial amount and the ambience was gasping our attention of all royalness , but when our order came to my surprise the curry quantity was of a bhel puri served on street for 20 rupees and the chef kept zero efforts in cutting the vegetables for the sabzi, we literally been served a half cut carrot which was big in size and didn't cook well, the tandoori roti was as normal as we get in any dhaba for 15-20 rupees and it was not even made of the quality which is served in a well rated restaurant after having a bad experience with this we chose to order a rumali roti which obviously cost more because it has more ingredients and it's a whole different roti but it was chewy and we had to gulp it. Let me tell you I have been to restaurants who charge well but we get the quality as well but this was just a pure blunder and a bad experience....
