This is one of the worst restaurant in Gachibowli. When I visited this place on 14th April 2019 had to wwit for an hour to get the table. It was too hot that day and i was there with my wife and kids. They don't even have a waiting area where at least a fan is there where we can seat and wait. When we got the table after very long waiting and after seating on the table nobody came till 30 mins to take order. When I requested that my kids a re hungry so i want to order ASAP they took my order. After placing the order I had to wait for an hour to get my food at table. I had ordered vanilla and sweet lassi, mix veg paratha, and veg pulao, chhole. They served lassi first then paratha and then after long time pulao. chhole never came to my table and when I asked they said chhole is over sobcan order something else. I was very angry and disappointed that why didn't told me. They had no answer. I had ate my paratha without vegetables becoz it was too late and was hungry.

Believe me the restaurant is very confused and has very small space. Also the people have given excellent reviews are either bogus Or may they might have ate on road only then they experienced sardarji dhaba. So definitely it be excellent for such people or may be they have lot of money. I am a middle class salaried person and my money matters to me.

Overall conclusion of experience is they serve food in very cheap way and very dirty utensils. Another things food is very costly but taste is worst. For e.g., Mix paratha for Rs 188 has no value at all.

I am posting this feedback so that many people like me dont get into trouble when u want to spend precious time with ur family and enjoy a delicious...

Sardarji's : Traditional Punjabi Palate is one of the best places to have authentic dhaba-style punjabi food in Hyderabad.

Location (Exteriors) - Located on the Old Mumbai Highway passing through Gachibowli. Easy to access for people working and staying in Gachibowli, Financial District, Tolichowki and Shaikpet. Lacks a good parking space. Tramps and Beggars can be a problem.

Ambience (Interiors) - Spacious, but can get congested on weekends. One or two stools are available for the customers to sit.

Cost - Very nominal. Great value for money - amazing quality and quantity for less.

Food - This is the best part. Huge variety of traditional Punjabi dishes, with some original lip-smacking fusions. They also serve main course (Thalis, Roti Combos, Paratha Combos - all of which can be consumed on the go). Amazing quality and phenomenal quantity. The Special Nimboo Pani is just fantastic - the best version of this homely beverage. Some must try dishes are: Pani Puri, Sev Puri, Bhel Puri, Samosa Sandwich, Special Nimboo Pani, Special Punjabi Lassi, Aloo Tikki with Chole, Kulcha/ Paratha/ Roti with Paneer Butter Masala. The taste of their dishes will always make you come back for more.

Staff - Experienced staff. Great at cooking Punjabi food, and operating efficiently on busy days.

Service - Great service. Orders of customers seldom get mixed up inspite of heavy crowd.

Overall - 5/5. With great food comes great pricing. An awesome place to have chaat. A must visit place for anyone in Hyderabad. Go to place for fans of dhaba-style food. The seating arrangement can be improved, but the food more than just makes up for any...

They have two places of work within a radius of appx 300 meters. One is a Small Street Style Self Serve Dhaba joint which serves dishes like Rajma Chawal, Kulcha Dal/Paneer, Chats etc.

Other one is a Restaurant, which is what this review is for, oh by the way the restaurant is located in 3rd floor above Vodafone Showroom building and the entrance and stairs are sketchy.

We went around 8 in the evening, the lift wasn't working and there was no light on the stairs.

The ambience is modern, music selection is Punjabi/Bolly-Remix. Service is slow, but the staff at work is good.

Coming to food, we chose to go for mainly starters - Kung Pao Paneer, Gobi Popcorn and Pahadi Aloo. (Onion Rings weren't available) All were good in terms of overall taste and texture, but the Gobi popcorn wasn't very well cooked in the center and the coating wasn't stuck well. Maybe they don't boil the Cauliflower before coating & frying. Oh by the way, they provided Pani Puri as complimentary, but 5 pieces is not okay, either serve 4 for 4 people or serve 6.

There was the staff regularly filling up the water bottles and asking if the food is good.

We later went for Lachedar Parota and a Handi Sabzi. Both good, Parota was made with atta and sabzi had a nice taste.

Presentation is also nice.

Food overall is good, but expensive compared to the dhaba they operate where one can fill their stomach with 100 bucks. Here the bill for all was around 1200, which again is normal compared to other similar...

Stepping into Sardarji Traditional Punjabi Palate in Gachibowli felt like a promise of hearty Punjabi indulgence. I tried a spread of their signature dishes—Chole Bhature, Amritsari Chur Chur Naan, Raj Kachori, Dahi Papdi, Gol Gappe, and washed it all down with a Mango Lassi and a regular Lassi. Let’s start with the good—Chole Bhature was comforting, the bhature fluffy and the chole reasonably spiced. The Amritsari Chur Chur Naan was the star of the meal, layered with butter, stuffed generously, and perfectly charred, evoking that authentic dhaba feel. The Lassi (plain) was thick and satisfying, a must for anyone visiting. But, there were disappointments too. The Chaat dishes—Raj Kachori, Dahi Papdi, and Gol Gappe—fell flat. The flavors lacked punch, and the chutneys didn’t have the depth you expect from classic Delhi-Punjab street food. And then, the real letdown—the Mango Lassi was made with bottled mango extract. It’s peak mango season in May; fresh mangoes were a missed opportunity. For a place priding itself on 'traditional' flavors, this felt like a shortcut. Also, the prices were on the steeper side, which, coupled with these misses, slightly dampened the experience. Final rating: 4/5. Worth a visit for their breads and lassis, but I’d skip the chaats and the mango lassi unless they up their game.

If you’re looking for authentic North Indian cuisine in Hyderabad, this restaurant is a true gem. As a North Indian, I often struggle to find places that serve food reminiscent of home, but this spot has exceeded my expectations. I tried 2-3 dishes, and each one was absolutely fabulous in taste perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety of traditional North Indian dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. From buttery naans to rich curries, the flavors are authentic and satisfying. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it an ideal place for family dinners or casual meetups. What sets this restaurant apart is the quality of its food and the attention to detail in preparation. The chefs clearly have a passion for delivering genuine North Indian flavors, which is a rare find in Hyderabad. For anyone craving North Indian food, this place is nothing short of heaven. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed. It’s a spot I’ll be returning to often! However, the one downside is that there’s no seating available. You’ll need to stand and enjoy your meal, which might not be ideal for everyone. Despite this, the incredible taste more than makes up for it.
