Shawafel in Tolichowki is hands down one of the best places in India to experience real, authentic, and hygienic shawarma! Unlike the usual shawarmas you find across the country, this place brings true Middle Eastern flavors that are rare to come by. Every bite was packed with freshness, rich spices, and that perfect balance of juiciness and crispiness—something that’s hard to find elsewhere.

A special shoutout to the manager, Salim (if I got the name right). He is an absolute gem! Polite, responsive, and genuinely cares about the customers. From the moment we stepped in, he made sure we were well taken care of and ensured that our experience was top-notch.

I needed to edit this review and reduce ratings because after 2-3 months of operation, they have done 2 disappointing things. Increased the price and they have electronic weight counter to weight amount of chicken put in shawarma. This is so cheap act and disgusting trick. There shwarmas are decent in taste, thanks to their good quality sauces but the quantity is underwhelming.

Never seen any place in world where they weight chicken before putting on roti. The guy weighing the chicken will struggle and keep on adding/removing tiny tiny chicken pieces for a minute to get the desired weight and by the looks it gives feeling as if we are in jewellery shop.
