According to psychology Tabula Rasa (a Latin originated word meaning "blank slate") refers to a blank mind of a newly born & their identity defined/built by events/experiences after birth..!! & it absolutely resonates with this new bee in town setup amidst of a luxurious location (lane beside Neeru’s emporium dead end.)

Ambience – You enter through a narrow dark passage with dim lights near your feet & end up in a rustic space which has both Outdoor and Indoor seating with 100pax capacity. It's more or less like a lounge so you wouldn’t find a dance floor, nonetheless, no one stops you from dancing... Indeed the thumping music can’t make you sit for a long time..!! It's Obvious any outdoor seating is expected to have mosquito company & management is tackling it in different ways without upsetting the ambience..

Pricing – While the Starters ranging 150-275₹ Mains range from 300-450₹ & deserts around 200₹ approx. Signature cocktails (recommended) are priced at 550₹ & Mocktails stays around 250₹. Considering the quality, fusion and location I would say it’s decently priced.

Food – Before I comment on any dish there’s one thing which I would like to say, “This is THE PLACE for COCKTAILS”.. The Signature cocktails served would definitely need a special mention. Haven’t seen such a fantastic balance of flavours and richness. #TheWakeUpBomb (a sip starts with chocolatey flavour and slips down with vodka touch) #turbocharger (cold brewed LIT Coffee blended with whisky gives a coffee-licious kick to your palate) #SmoothCriminal #TheKentunckyRedhead #SpikedKerouac... #BerryBlossom & #WinterSangria (berries infused in Bombay sapphire and sparkling wine has blown me off) are the best from the best for me..! Starting with small plate dishes we were introduced with #MushroomBroccoliBites which was stupendous with broccoli cutting the spicy marinated mushroom flavor and making it balanced.. followed by #ChickenCigars, #IndonesianSambalGrilledChicken, #PaneerSatey (felt paneer is little tangy), Fiery masala Grilled broccoli (yet another well-presented lip-smacking crunchy dish) #DynamiteShrimps (tender & juicy with no raw smell), #ChilliBasilFish. Burgers, Pizza’s and Sandwiches are equally good with no complains. Moving on to Mains #ThaiVegCurry was just wow for me . Could have been better if the rice served is flavoured (if not jasmine rice at least jasmine flavour sticking to the authenticity) but still can be ignored.. #BlackenedFishWithCherryTomatoButterSauce was bang-on on how I love a tangy dish to be.. Cherry tomatoes with lemon extract were well amalgamated to give a sharp tangy flavour to the sauce which went well with the flavoured rice and seasoned grilled fish. Not to forgot those burnt garlic bulbs though..! Finally, no meal is complete without deserts.. At least for me..! Be it the moist #brownie with subtle sweetness or #AppleTart which is warm & delectable or #TresLeches which is rich, creamy and luring. None of them disappointed us & gave an impressive closure

Overall I would say TabulaRasa has exceeded the expectations we had & I personally can count on it for a weekend hangout.

Skip going here at all costs. Read further to save u a horrible experience. We rarely rate a place as bad, but this place deserves negative ratings. Many people had similar opinions like us, but still wanted to give it a try for capricio band. So this is the detailed experience we had. We had called in the evening much before the opening time and had asked for a table reservation, it was informed to us that the reservation was not required and we can walk in directly. After reaching, they said there were no tables vacant(on a weekday, at 7:30 pm) and said we can have an area at the bar with high chairs (after entering found lots of empty tables for two people) but were denied these places and moreover no high chairs were provided at the bar too and have been asked to stand and order. Even had to pay an entry fee of 500 rs per head (non refundable)(i doubt management knows this/may be self interests invested??). We are a couple and have been asked to stand and no place to sit was provided. Had to walk out and speak with manager to get a place to sit for the lady. Management needs to be extra clear about reservations. This is a pathetic service. Customer is how d hospitality industry survives. If your customers are not respected, the downfall is around the corner. Secondly the ambience. Overcrowded. They have been pushing in the crowd and overjamming people, much, much beyond sitting and even standing capacity. Looked like a rush hour in japan trains. Poor covid restrictions. This is a very substandard way of making extra bucks for the restaurant. I cudnt even find a place for people to stand, that it reached a point of pushing each other to even stand. If it was a major event like a new year or may be sunburn in goa its passable, but there will be elite crowd expecting a goodnight and booking the restaurant for a good dinner, if above thing syncs with you, give the restaurant a pass. Food is over rated, not upto the mark, had better food than this at local restaurants. Waiters are horrible. They take the initial 2000 rs which has to be paid(will be deducted from food and drinks later)but when they give u d bill, they donot deduct it, u need to be extra vigilant with the bill, and cross check things. Waiters argue with you, ill mannered, this is against the hospitality service. And the drinks, i wonder if they give the drinks u have ordered for or go for cheaper versions, its unmonitored and connoisseurs can easily make out the drinks are exchanged for an alternative cheaper brands. This place is okay for younger crowds 19-21 who are yet to experience finer things. But not a value for money. Could hardly appreciate good things about this place. I would give at a minus rating if possible. I would recommend skip going to this place...
