Read moreI recently had breakfast at Tiffin Depot by the Kinara group of hotels, and it was a delightful experience. This South Indian restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. Here's a breakdown of what I enjoyed:
Mysore Dosa The Mysore dosa was a standout. This crispy dosa was perfectly spiced with a layer of red chutney, giving it a unique and flavorful kick. Paired with the accompanying coconut chutney and sambar, it was a truly satisfying dish.
Masala Dosa The masala dosa was equally impressive. The dosa was crispy on the outside and soft inside, filled with a deliciously spiced potato filling. The balance of flavors was perfect, making each bite enjoyable.
Sambar Idly The sambar idly was a comforting dish. The idly was soft and fluffy, soaking up the rich and aromatic sambar. The sambar had just the right blend of spices, making it a warm and hearty choice for breakfast.
South Combo Breakfast The South combo breakfast was a delightful mix of mini dosa, idly, sweet, curd rice, and more. Each item was well-prepared and complemented the others perfectly. It offered a variety of flavors and textures, making it a great choice for those who want to try a bit of everything.
Additional Experience Valet parking is available, so parking is hassle-free. The service is self-service with a token system, requiring payment first to get the token. All payment options are accepted. The staff were very helpful, assisting me in finding a seat as soon as I arrived. Good drinking water is available, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

Read moreNever try pizza dosa here. It was not dosa nor pizza it was something else. And with that they served sweet coconut chutney! We have had pizza dosa from many food trucks. This was the worst. The crust was made of thick dosa batter which was not chewable and is not at all good with cheese. We just scraped the cheese separately and left the dosa untouched. This was charged at rs150 which was utter waste. The attached pics taken by me are good only to see not to eat.
Coming to the south indian combo for rs140, if you want to see the world's smallest idli and smallest wada in the universe you can order this. The dosa will not fill your kid's stomach also. Don't expect your stomach to fill with this combo. This is just for show. Pongal 2 spoons and kesari 2 spoons were delicious. Chutney, sambar and the podis kept on table were also good. Will not recommend for any starving person. Go here only if you want to burn some money. Rest is upto you. Update: saw another customer fighting at the counter as her paneer in the paneer paratha was very...
