It's more than two years since the last time I visited this place. It had been my favourite place for South Indian breakfast items #tiffins And with yesterday's visit it has proven to improve. This time in the Ambience provided for the dine-in guests. Typical granite top tables with moulded chairs for seating. We ordered idli, our idea was sponge idli but we were served the regular local variant . And ofcourse 'neer dosa'. The chutney accompanying the neer dosa was the red chilli based chutney, tasty😋 (but it was chilled) quite obviously not made fresh. We were there past 9AM. The grated coconut with jaggery was so typical, a Malabar fare! Honestly the chutney and sambar were not impressive that came with idli. I wish they did something about it. Our next order was the mysuru masla dosa, requested for crispy and it was perfectly made. For take away we ordered a plate of sponge idli and puri with aloo bhaji. And last but not the least one by 2 coffee. Slightly bitter/burnt but ok. The total bill was about INR 313 which we thought was value for money. Special mention that Udupi buns are available only in Saturday amd Sunday. What a joke, in the name of contactless service!!

People here come to eat idli and dosa, not Caprese salad!!. And you force them to take/bring their phone to download your useless, bug filled android app to order their dishes everytime!! And we don't have any option here, until we embarrassingly apologize for not bringing our mobile.

Come on!! We have to do all these nonsense to get a single vada?! You are a everyday vegetarian resto and behave like one. Take cash, give the dish and we both are out of the picture!! If this continues, you are not getting any customer at all.. again remember, you are a regular dosa shop not an Italian gourmet which people visit once in an year for pleasure!!

Update: Reply to the hotel management - Your procedure or your so called app is neither close to any technological advancement nor protecting us from covid spreading. Whoever commenting from the management, kindly visit your resto once and then talk about employee cleanliness, social distancing or even wearing a mask at the least! And talking about supporting local business, mind you, me and my friends were regular customers to your resto for months, and we won't be anymore because of this nonsense.
