CCD is an Indian equivalent of Starbucks or Costa Coffee. This cafe is located near the exit of the Amber palace. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has a great view of the walls surrounding Amber palace.
A visit to Amber palace, especially in the morning, involves a lot of walking and enduring the heat from the scorching sun. So by the time we are about to exit the palace complex, we will be very tired and the presence of CCD is a pleasant sight for the tired travellers. They offer a variety of sandwiches, burgers, cold coffees, iced teas and flavoured coolers. We had their paneer sandwich, cold coffee and iced tea. They were all delicious.

Even though we ordered food. Not only was that frustrating, but the lack of empathy from the staff was shocking. They seemed completely indifferent to a child's basic need for water. It’s one thing to be busy, but completely ignoring a customer's needs, especially when it's something so basic and reasonable, is unacceptable. This kind of service and attitude makes me question whether I'll ever return. A simple gesture like providing water for a child shouldn't be too much to ask, but apparently, it is at this place. Very...

The tables were all full of leftovers and disposables from previous orders and the sole attendant in the cafe was unbothered with the litter. We ordered a sandwich, coffee, watermelon punch and a brownie. They had bad mixer so could not make a cold coffee. The coffee machine looked dirty. The brownie had a date well past its normal expiry date. We ended up walking out after cancelling our order and getting a refund. Does not deserve to be a CCD store at all. Some roadside tea stalls are better than...
