Chhabra's Pure Veg — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Excellent and affordable restaurant for solos, couples, friends, families and children. The food is really delicious, well cooked and properly baked. It has everything on its menu, right from starters and fast food in snacks to breads and vegetables in the main course with beverages and desserts. Masala Papad, Salt N Pepper Fries, Oriental Spring Roll and Chilli Paneer N Pepper are delicious. Paneer Tikka Masala and Jeera Pulao are just mouthwatering with proper balance of all the ingredients in them. Dal Tadka and Boondi Raita are great too. The breads are properly baked, well roasted and easily customisable. Stuffed Naan and Butter Tandoori Roti are delicious too. The entrance and the exit are the same and are really attractive as the entrance is surrounded by beautiful green potted plants. Indoor and outdoor seating both are available. Indoor seating is available on two floors including the ground floor with a few beautiful paintings and photos on the wall and well furnished furniture. Outdoor seating has a lot of green potted plants. It has a separate counter for take away orders which is really necessary at such busy restaurants. The indoors are well designed, well maintained and clean by well trained and polite staff. The atmosphere and service is good too. Valet parking is also available. We went to Chhabra's on December 15th 2024, and we ordered three dishes. Old Town Biryani 🍚

The biryani wasn't spicy at all, the rice was firm, and I personally liked the garnishing. It was served with raita. The portion was enough for one or two people. Rating: 4/5

Mix Mushroom 🍄 Dim Sums 🥟

After this, we wanted to try something unique and ordered Mix Mushroom 🍄 Dim Sums. The filling was finely chopped and evenly cooked, while the outer layer was soft, delicate, and steamed to perfection. It was served with two sauces. I must say they were really amazing, and six pieces were served. Rating: 5/5

Baked Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni

Lastly we ordered Baked Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni. It was my first time trying this dish. The ricotta was creamy and felt fresh, the spinach wasn't watery, and there was a perfect balance between cheese and greens. The ricotta was evenly baked in white sauce. The pasta was cooked well. I would say it looks appetising, and I would really try it on my next visit. Rating: 6/5 — I would definitely order again!

Except for veg biryani, the other two need some preparation time, so be mindful of that. The ambience was soothing and calm, and I really enjoyed the service. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of dining at Chhabra's and making my post-birthday...

The staff insists on serving only packaged water and refuses to provide RO water, which I find unacceptable. After finishing our meal and asking for water a second time, a staff member mentioned that they were waiting for us to complain before offering the packaged water for free.

This feels like a trap. By default, they don’t offer free water and won’t inform you that the packaged water can be free. Only if you challenge this practice will they provide the packaged water at no cost.

These guys follow a story of an incident that someone complaint about bubble in water glass forced them to not server RO water at all.

Mr. Chhabra sir, I have been a loyal customer since 2005 and always enjoyed meeting you during my visits. The food used to be excellent, and the staff was courteous. Unfortunately, the food quality has declined, and it seems the brand is now more focused on commercialization rather than customer satisfaction. Customer experience and quality has brought you here from your early days, don't ruin it and your brand on the sake of earning money. Your old restraunt cum Dhaba was much better place to be and eat food then these fancy outlets.
