miroh is a roof-top restaurant on m.i. road (mirza ismail road onn google maps, but tuk-tuk drivers and apple maps call it m.i. road). to find the place, you will first see their next door restaurant, called handi. ask the door man at the street level for miróh and they will guide you to an elevator taking you to miróh.

miróh has a fantastic selection of quality dishes. rooted in indian cuisine, their range goes well beyond including pastas and pizzas. the preparation and presentation of the dishes is top-notch.

when we discovered miroh, and noticed the quality of the dishes, we immediately decided to come there again the following night, loving it even more. on our third night we looked around for similar alternatives, and found nothing matching miróh's offerings, so we wound up going there again, surprising the delightful wait staff who made sure to make us feel extra welcome.

on our first night we felt like we were taking a risk ordering the prawn starter this far from the sea, but it turned out to be our favourite, and so we had it all three nights. also enjoyed the korean chicken, jungli chicken, mushroom sliders, and the apple waldorf salad, the caprese salad, and another seemingly risky option: the pepperoni pizza. (after two weeks of indian cuisine i had a craving for pizza so i ordered it, honestly not expecting much. what a deligthful surprise to see a perfectly baked thin crust, pleasantly thick pepperoni pieces, a moderately spicy kick on a bed of tasty melted cheese!).

on our third night i was curious about their craft beer selection hinted at but not detailed on the menu. our waiter took whisked off and returned with a flight of 3 flavours of craft beers: an irresistible pilsner, a hefeweizen, and a unique, new to me rosé craft beer that i would have loved to enjoyed more but whose special flavour clashed with my meal plans.

i mentioned that the staff were excellent, and quite worthy of their excellent chef. they were attentive and friendly. we enjoyed their help guiding our meal choices.

after considering it, i am docking the atmosphere by one star. this is a minor criticism as both the outside and the inside have nice decor, comfortable seats, good spacing between tables, muted lighting. however, both the inside and the outside spaces have large screens playing cricket matches, and based on my personal preference as someone easily distracted by flashing lights and images i would have preferred to go without. the outside had a dj playing fun, dance-y music, whereas on the inside cricket match commentary in hindi provided the soundtrack. (a sign outside the restaurant suggests that the cricket broadcasts are being offered only for the period of march 22nd...

Disappointing Experience at Miroh Jaipur

Our recent visit to Miroh in Jaipur left us feeling quite disappointed. We had initially planned to dine at Handi, which is located in the same space, and after asking to be seated there, we were escorted to Miroh by the staff on the ground floor. It wasn’t until after we placed our order that we realized we were dining at a different restaurant altogether. The staff later clarified that both Miroh and Handi are part of the same group, but this lack of transparency left us feeling misled.

We decided to give Miroh a chance and ordered several of the restaurant’s special dishes, including Junglee Paneer, Maas, and Laal Maas. However, to our surprise, the food was underwhelming. Compared to the quality we’ve enjoyed at their other branches, this meal didn’t live up to expectations—flavors were lacking and dishes seemed poorly executed.

To make matters worse, when we shared our concerns with the restaurant manager, she seemed indifferent and unconcerned about our feedback, which only added to our frustration. It was only after contacting the general manager of the group that we received a sincere and humble acknowledgment of the issue, which we appreciated.

While the general manager’s response was reassuring, the overall experience left much to be desired. We had expected much more from a group with such a strong reputation, and unfortunately, Miroh didn’t live up to...

Miroh Handi is hands down one of the best lounge experiences I've had in a while! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of modern and cozy vibes. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit.

The food? Absolutely delicious! The variety of dishes is impressive, with each one packed with flavors that really stand out. I highly recommend trying their signature handi dishes – they’re packed with rich, aromatic spices and cooked to perfection. Whether you're there for a casual night out or a special celebration, Miroh Handi hits the spot every time!

The drinks menu was also top-notch, offering a great selection of both classic cocktails and creative mixes. Plus, the lounge’s relaxing atmosphere and great music make it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a cozy date night.
