We had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete waste of money. We were seated in the so-called Maharaja Room, but from the start, the experience was anything but regal. We quickly realized we weren’t the only ones frustrated by the poor service — other customers around us were equally dissatisfied, some even leaving midway through their meals.
To make matters worse, half of the items on the menu weren’t available. The service staff seemed disoriented, likely because they’ve gotten used to the fake positive reviews posted, which made them complacent and inattentive.
Don’t be fooled by the ambiance — while it may initially look appealing, once you settle into the seating area, it’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority. The washrooms were unhygienic, and we even spotted cockroaches roaming around. The service was excruciatingly slow — so much so that any remaining hunger or excitement to eat quickly disappeared.
As for the food, the taste and portion sizes were nothing special, certainly not worth the exorbitant prices they charge. To top it off, they charged us for an unasked-salad, which was stale. Most restaurants serve salads normally, so here this felt like a cheap tactic to inflate the bill.
If you think you’ll have a smooth dining experience, think again. You’ll have to remind the staff about your order at least three or four times before they even acknowledge it. We waited 20-30 minutes for our food, and if you want to make any changes or add something later, expect even more waiting. And when it’s finally time to settle the bill, you’ll face another long wait.
The Chicken Nihari Fry and Chicken Stew we ordered were bland and tasteless, and the portions were so small that they felt like an afterthought. The whole experience was overpriced and underwhelming.
We walked out completely dissatisfied and definitely wouldn’t recommend this...
