We stayed at Hotel Ruby, Jaipur for 2 days. The room was fine, food was good and affordable, and the service staff (apart from reception) was friendly. But our experience at the front desk was absolutely shocking because of a man named Kishan Ji at reception.

Before arriving, we had already informed the hotel that we would come the next day, and the staff assured us that if we arrived early, a room would be given if available. When we reached, rooms WERE available. Yet this man, instead of checking us in, arrogantly told us to “sit and wait.” In front of us, he gave rooms to other customers but deliberately made us wait for over 2 hours. He even went as far as to say that he wasn’t sure we had a booking – despite us showing confirmation – clearly trying to intimidate us and create a scene.

This kind of behavior is not only rude but completely unprofessional and unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The reception is supposed to be the face of the hotel, and if the first point of contact is this arrogant and disrespectful, it destroys the entire experience.

The rest of the staff was helpful, and the food was good, but because of this one person, our entire stay was ruined. If the hotel management cares at all about their reputation and future business, they should immediately remove this person from the reception desk.

Warning to future guests: If you value respect and professionalism, think twice before...

My stay at Hotel Ruby during May, while I was there for my NEET exam, merits a solid four-star rating. The hotel offered an overall experience that was slightly above average, with certain aspects standing out positively. The location was convenient and the amenities provided were satisfactory, contributing to a comfortable stay.

However, the pricing left me somewhat disappointed, as it wasn't particularly student-friendly. The cost seemed disproportionate to the facilities and services offered, which is an aspect that could be improved upon to better accommodate budget-conscious visitors, especially those in town for exams.

One exceptional highlight was the encounter with a gentleman at the reception, who truly went above and beyond. His remarkable politeness and exceptional helpfulness left a lasting impression. He exhibited a level of service and kindness that exceeded expectations, making my stay memorable and ensuring that I felt welcomed and supported during a potentially stressful time.

While there is room for improvement in terms of pricing and overall value, the outstanding service provided by the reception staff member is deserving of a special mention and appreciation. With adjustments to pricing and continued dedication to exceptional customer service, Hotel Ruby has the potential to enhance its reputation and offer an even more satisfying experience for...

We stayed at this hotel in Jaipur during our college tour. The manager while allotting the rooms gave all the rooms on the ground floor to the girls. All the girls 1st 2nd and 3rd years UG courses were given rooms on the ground floor. The boys were given the first floor, We didn't notice this surprisingly, until the crime happened. So, we checked into this hell in the morning, late at night. The crime happened exactly 24 hrs later, The first incident, a girl noticed something moving outside the window. The windows were black from the inside. Which is always and should be from the outside, so you can see things from inside to the outside. But not the other way around, here it was the opposite. So they had this duct like thing, which they maintained was inaccessible. But it was very accessible. So they would go there, and watch the girls inside, changing and stuff as the girls thought they're safe and inside four walls. That was the first, after she noticed it we started investigating the entire hotel. Found most of the rooms on the ground floor had this, and many of the bathrooms were next to the corridors and anyone can easily slide their phone inside and record everything. The entire ground floor had fraud Architecture, many inaccessible spaces from the outside, but there should've been something as there were rooms above it. We filed an FIR...

Pathetic. From where do i even start. We opted for this hotel stay during long weekend. We booked it prior in advance and requested an early checkin. After availability we paid 30% of our booking amt as early check in charge. MMT shows so many benefits, welcome drinks, nearby pick up and drop from station or bus stand, room pictures were flawless, So many things. And guess what?? 1. During check in we asked for water, immediately they charged us. 1.A the two guys sitting on the reception during the morning time were so rude and weird. Not cordial and welcoming at all. 1.B constant powercuts because of which beds smelled, water smelled. 2. Room was so smelly and in bad shape. Their common washroom was cleaner than the room washroom. 3. Had no geyser, no water bottles, no toilet rolls, tissues, kettle, intercom wasn’t working, you name any basic thing and it wasn’t there. 4. They kept online booking and prior payment ones on hold and entertained people who payed 4 times the booking amount during peak hours of the long weekend. 5. Last but not the least. THEY HAD BEDBUGS IN ROOM - 212. We were done here. 🥲 I guess they compensated this by not charging us food bill but trust me the hotel food was below average. Very oily, roadside taste and no hygiene.

On arrival check in was fast. After a visit to the room if it’s not what you want another is offered. We were very happy with our room, good size, quiet and pretty clean. Anything you want you only need ask, the staff are very accommodating and quick to help. I have read some negative reviews about rooms and staff, I’m not sure why, our experience was lovey! Sirya and Sundip were two young men who served us breakfast and sometimes dinner and I found them to be polite, humble and only want to please. The food was as good here as anywhere els we ate with the convenience of being in house of you rather not venture out then don’t bother. We were also fortunate enough to be staying while celebrating Jay Shree Ram. One of the Hotel Ruby’s owners, Lokesh, welcomed us to join in the celebration of fireworks, music and dancing. We felt almost like family. Room prices are very reasonable, hot water in the bathrooms day and night. I’m not going to sugar coat my review, I want it to be honest and helpful. This is India, if you want a sterile environment stay at home. That said the standards at the Ruby Hotel are the best on our trip so far and I’d highly recommend staying here. 🙏🏼 PS I’m the guy in the photos with the pink shirt on.

I stayed two days here. I will tell you the whole history. Auto drivers alwys try to disturb you during journey from airport/station to hotel. But dont listen to them. When you dropped at hotel,, tell the manager clearly that you come to the Hotel on your own choice and there is no idea of other person unless they will charge you extra. Hotel rooms are good,, clean and all good for a medium class person. try to book rooms online and choose the same room you selected. Pics on hotel site are all same you cannot decide. Food is almost good and you liked it mostly if you are indian. Prices are also good not too. Much high and you can have dinner 350-450 easily for two persons.. Staff is of good quality.no extra charges.only the i bills you have to pay area is the best to search the local markets and destinations. Almost centre of the city and not far from jaipur metro. Purchase every thing from the local markets and dont go to the maharni bazaar and rani baazar like this. You can opt for johri bazaar nehru bazaar and bapu baazar are best options. Dont buy the tickets of hawamahal. There is nothing inside just walls to watch. Have pics from. Main road of hawa mahal. Rest you can ask. Thank you.
