We stayed at Hotel Ruby, Jaipur for 2 days. The room was fine, food was good and affordable, and the service staff (apart from reception) was friendly. But our experience at the front desk was absolutely shocking because of a man named Kishan Ji at reception.
Before arriving, we had already informed the hotel that we would come the next day, and the staff assured us that if we arrived early, a room would be given if available. When we reached, rooms WERE available. Yet this man, instead of checking us in, arrogantly told us to “sit and wait.” In front of us, he gave rooms to other customers but deliberately made us wait for over 2 hours. He even went as far as to say that he wasn’t sure we had a booking – despite us showing confirmation – clearly trying to intimidate us and create a scene.
This kind of behavior is not only rude but completely unprofessional and unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The reception is supposed to be the face of the hotel, and if the first point of contact is this arrogant and disrespectful, it destroys the entire experience.
The rest of the staff was helpful, and the food was good, but because of this one person, our entire stay was ruined. If the hotel management cares at all about their reputation and future business, they should immediately remove this person from the reception desk.
Warning to future guests: If you value respect and professionalism, think twice before...
Read moreMy stay at Hotel Ruby during May, while I was there for my NEET exam, merits a solid four-star rating. The hotel offered an overall experience that was slightly above average, with certain aspects standing out positively. The location was convenient and the amenities provided were satisfactory, contributing to a comfortable stay.
However, the pricing left me somewhat disappointed, as it wasn't particularly student-friendly. The cost seemed disproportionate to the facilities and services offered, which is an aspect that could be improved upon to better accommodate budget-conscious visitors, especially those in town for exams.
One exceptional highlight was the encounter with a gentleman at the reception, who truly went above and beyond. His remarkable politeness and exceptional helpfulness left a lasting impression. He exhibited a level of service and kindness that exceeded expectations, making my stay memorable and ensuring that I felt welcomed and supported during a potentially stressful time.
While there is room for improvement in terms of pricing and overall value, the outstanding service provided by the reception staff member is deserving of a special mention and appreciation. With adjustments to pricing and continued dedication to exceptional customer service, Hotel Ruby has the potential to enhance its reputation and offer an even more satisfying experience for...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel in Jaipur during our college tour. The manager while allotting the rooms gave all the rooms on the ground floor to the girls. All the girls 1st 2nd and 3rd years UG courses were given rooms on the ground floor. The boys were given the first floor, We didn't notice this surprisingly, until the crime happened. So, we checked into this hell in the morning, late at night. The crime happened exactly 24 hrs later, The first incident, a girl noticed something moving outside the window. The windows were black from the inside. Which is always and should be from the outside, so you can see things from inside to the outside. But not the other way around, here it was the opposite. So they had this duct like thing, which they maintained was inaccessible. But it was very accessible. So they would go there, and watch the girls inside, changing and stuff as the girls thought they're safe and inside four walls. That was the first, after she noticed it we started investigating the entire hotel. Found most of the rooms on the ground floor had this, and many of the bathrooms were next to the corridors and anyone can easily slide their phone inside and record everything. The entire ground floor had fraud Architecture, many inaccessible spaces from the outside, but there should've been something as there were rooms above it. We filed an FIR...
