I visited here with my younger brother today (02-Aug-2023)
They charged 100/ person on entry gate we had no idea what is that 100rs charged for so we thought it is for entry, atmosphere, Ambience and place charges so we ordered two cold drink at first and we sit around 10 minutes one waiter came with 3-4 foreign visitors, he told us to sit on another bench in very disrespectful manner, as we are nothing, " Suno tum log idhar Beth jao" with an annoying tone, but as an Indian I respected foreign visitors " Atithi devo bhava" and kept my calm and politely stood and sat on another bench, my younger brother was very angry and he was about to abuse waiter but i requested him to keep quiet , then we asked one of waiter if we need to pay on counter? he said your bill is ₹100 just pay me, then i said bill, he told we manage one table, just pay me, " hamara din bhar ka raat ko hisaab hota h" I got a doubt in my mind, I asked him how your senior or counter get to know if I paid bill or not? he said " its our daily routine " i was not satisfied as he just took ₹ 100 and kept in his pocket. I wanted to interrogate him more, i asked what is famous here, he told anything you eat, then one of other waiter came and i asked what is that 100/ per person for just for entry ? then in front of him he told no , it is for any 2 item, cold drink/ coffee/ tea I told we just ordered 2 cold drinks then what is that 100 rs you took from us he told i thought you had some more meal,I told you know we had 2 cold drinka at its for 100 and then only you took 100 and kept in your pocket, then he returned 100 and just walked away, they just think these Indian are fool. I Just want to tell everyone these people deserve to be treated like waiter, then only they treat us good if u talk politely the think you are poor and start dominating you. Anyway I wish I would have told him I am SCALE-1 OFFICER At SBI I too an...
Read moreOur experience at Padao Restaurant in Nahargarh Fort left much to be desired. Located at the end of a lengthy fort road, reaching the restaurant involves a considerable walk. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that a Rs. 100 per person ticket was required merely to enter the restaurant premises.
The restaurant offered a complimentary 1-liter bottle of mineral water or a 250ml cold drink of our choice, which was a small consolation considering the disappointing experience that followed. The allure of witnessing the sunset from the fort's edge, as seen on viral Instagram reels, was reserved exclusively for diners who had pre-booked meals priced at Rs. 1350 per person.
Regrettably, the reality did not match the hype. The food served was subpar in both quantity and taste. Additionally, the presentation of the dishes was unappealing, bordering on unappetizing. The staff's demeanor was unwelcoming and rude, and it appeared that they prioritized foreign guests over others. Furthermore, the plates and cutlery were not clean, which added to our discomfort.
To exacerbate matters, the restaurant lacked basic amenities such as fans or coolers, making the dining experience uncomfortable given the June heat. The overall service was abysmal, and it felt like our visit was not valued.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against visiting Padao Restaurant at Nahargarh Fort. The combination of exorbitant entry fees, lackluster food quality, poor service, and unwelcoming atmosphere makes it an experience to forget rather than cherish. There are far better dining options in Jaipur that offer both better views and superior...

Absolute money grab scheme being executed right from the Nahargarh Fort entrance - Pay ₹50 Parking for Nahargarh Fort no matter if you don't even park your car there. If you do park it there, the restaurant is another 1 to 1.5 KM away from the Parking! Entrance fee for the Restaurant - ₹100! per person with which you get a complementary Tea, Coffee and Water. Water is just better, trust me. I mean after all that, at least the service should be classic good. No. Plain No. Only 1 menu for the whole rooftop section available. There are like more than 10 tables on the Rooftop Section. 2 VIP, Reserved sections where all the focus of the few available waiters was. The leftover waiters are frantically running around, not listening to the whole order, just plain ignoring the customers. Since liquor is available, one of the waiters is always chucking left over booze in the bin emptying the bottles right in front of the customers.
Yes it was crowded and beaming with customers. You had to claw in for getting a table, we saw most of them just have their complementary tea coffee and leave. So a ₹100 Tea is totally worth it. Just makes the customer feel like a fool.
We thought maybe the food will make it better. Nope. Let's not even joke about it, a highway dhaba does it better with Noodles than here.
Simply saying the 5 and the 4 star reviews are basically from drunk pupils who didn't return home with half of their integrity intact or never saw a...
