SambharSa is a vegetarian restaurant chain that specializes in South Indian cuisine. It has two branches in Jaipur, one in Malviya Nagar and one in Vivek Vihar Road.
We always went to Vivek Vihar as this is situated right on main road opposite to RAS club. Though a small setup but really big i taste. The place is known for its tasty and authentic dishes, such as dosas, idlis, vadas, paniyarams, uttapams, and rice. They first welcome you always with Rasam shot and Papad which is my family's and friends absolute favourite. Then here comes there menu what all a north person with south food craver stomach need a variety of south food, belive me you will going to love all of their preparations. I simply love everything so far I have ate.
The restaurant also offers beverages like filter coffee and tadka pudina chaas. The service is quick and courteous, and the prices are reasonable.
The restaurant is open from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm, and accepts both cash and cards. SambharSa is a great place to enjoy a satisfying and healthy meal, especially for South Indian food lovers.
The restaurant has limited parking availability but since this is situate on road so less difficult that you won't find it. But sometimes it gets difficult especially during weekends.
But whatever if you love southern food then visit this place as its way better then any south Indian Food...
Read moreThis place has grabbed eyeballs in the first few months of its launch in jaipur specially for their superior food quality, presentation techniques and homely service that i was complelled to visit this place last week with my friends and must say they did every bit of justice to my expectations.
This place has been featured to bring the most authentic flavors of South India to Jaipur. With the likes of a “Rasam” which was given to us as a complimentary palette cleanser - which was nothing less than a blast of flavours and surely the first time I tasted something so different from the standard sambhar we get in Jaipur.
The rasam introduction was followed by these MUST TRY items - Podi Idli, Banana Poori, Masala Uttapam, Thailava Dosa, Kesari Bhaat and we finally washed all of this down with a final shot of Filter Kappi.
Each and every food item was delectable and authentic in every sense😋😋
Special kudos to Team SambharSa👏👏 to create a warm and homely abode which gives the required comfort to enjoy every bite of the deliciousness they serve.
So i would give it a full 10👍👍 and would suggest this as a strong recommendation to all you folks!!!!
Pro Tip - Ask the SambharSa team to surprise you with what they have to offer and let me take you for a immersive South Indian...
Read moreBeing a south indian fan, I went to this hyped south indian chain to try out my idli cravings.
The first impressions were good. They did commendable work on aesthetics, design and ambience. Service was good as well. Got complimentary papadam and rasam. Impressed by this I ordered their chef special highlighted Ghee Podi Idli (this is the epitome of idli variation for those who don't have any context) from the menu.
When the order arrived, I was heartbroken. It was terrible. The idli dipped in ghee with the bitter most podi masala I ever had in my life. It was bland. The ghee, well i doubt if it was pure as there was no hint of desi ghee flavour - smell wise or taste wise for a whopping 190 Rupees.
I had to dig deep about this restaurant to find out that it's not an authentic South Indian food chain, but a jaipur based startup hiring majorly north indian staff to serve a sub quality food for over valued price.
Did lose all my courage to order even a plain dosa. On the top of it, while bringing a bill copy they gave a sweet saunf bowl with a dead fly in it.
So taste wise - 2/5 Hygiene wise -2/5 Value for money -2/5 Service and aesthetics -4/5
Will I recommend this? - Never. Better find a good idli cart and enjoy better taste, value for money...
