Read moreI was initially skeptical about this place because of its Google rating, which was 3.9 when I checked. However, after asking 2-3 locals for recommendations on good North Indian food for dinner, they all directed us to Mahavir Dhaba.
I appreciated the simplistic setup of the restaurant. In my experience, such places often serve the best food. We ordered dal fry, sev tamatar, jeera rice, tandoori roti, masala papad, and a Pepsi. I could see them cooking in the shop next door, and I enjoyed watching them work in unison with such passion for their food. The meal itself was delicious and satisfying—exactly what we were craving for dinner that night.
The menu is small (all vegetarian), but based on what I tasted, everything seems to be delicious. They definitely don't deserve a 3.9/5 rating in my opinion. My personal experience was closer to a 4.5/5. I’d recommend visiting if you enjoy hot, spicy North...
Read moreFood- they mix maida in tandoori roti and laccha paratha which neither tastes good nor healthy. Malai kofta is horrible koftas are very hard made of aalo only, Dal fry is kaam chalau they put two big pieces of tomato to fry it so I think the workers may be lazy to chop it properly, same with kadhai paneer. No taste no quality.
Service is very poor, you give your full order, then they will serve daal then after 5 min you get roti, then when you are about to finish dal roti you get paneer and kofta takes too long that you will forget to think about desserts.
Atmosphere - no ambience, its a small shop with some table chairs so can't expect good experience.
Overall its a hype made my reviewers and vloggers. Even a roadside mess serves better food and charge...
