I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chai jaai Cafe during my trip to Srinagar, and I must say it was an absolute delight Here's why Chai jaai Cafe deserves a glowing review:

Charming Ambiance: The cafe boasts a charming and cozy ambiance with its rustic decor, comfortable seating, and soft lighting. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax, whether you're visiting alone or with friends. Stellar Chai Selection: As a chai lover, I was thrilled by the extensive chai menu offered at Chai jaai Cafe. From classic masala chai to unique flavors like Kashmiri Kahwa, they have something to cater to every palate. Each cup of chai is expertly brewed, infused with aromatic spices, and served piping hot. The rich and soothing flavors were simply exceptional. Delicious Food Options: its is not just about chai; they also serve a variety of mouthwatering food options. I highly recommend trying their delectable samosas and pakoras, which perfectly complement the chai experience. The menu also offers a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to satisfy different cravings. Friendly and Attentive Staff: The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They were happy to provide recommendations and were knowledgeable about the different chai blends and food options available. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyable experience. Affordable Prices: Despite offering such high-quality chai and food, it maintains affordable prices. It's a refreshing change to find a place that doesn't compromise on taste or service while keeping prices reasonable. Convenient Location: The cafe is conveniently located in Srinagar, making it easily accessible to both locals and tourists. Overall, my experience at Chai jaai Cafe was exceptional. It's a hidden gem that captures the essence of Srinagar's hospitality, offering a perfect blend of comfort, taste, and affordability. If you find yourself in Srinagar, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in a cup of chai at Chai Jhai Cafe. It's an experience you won't...

7 stars for Chai jaai ... Food, service and ambience - all top notch. Must go place for all foodies and taste the authentic flavours of kashmiri kahwa. Quirky, chic and English ambience with a Kashmiri twist. Right from the entrance till you reach the first floor cafe space it's a delight. One can observe the people walking past getting clicked with the cafe backdrop. We had the Trout fish (once ordered, it is specially freshly prepared- took about 30 minutes to arrive) & Noon chai. Well prepared, perfectly cooked, the fish meat came off the bone rightly, each morsel bursting with flavours of rosemary, thyme and buttery smoothness. Garlic bread was to die for and could easily gobble down some more!!! The crunchy salad- red & yellow bell pepper, apple and lime dash just clears the platter as a side and sweet dish. Noon chai went well with the fish. Better reach this place beforehand otherwise there's long waiting. Parking can be done along the street, cafe faces the river so it's an open end and breezy in the evenings. It's on a lane perfect for stroll after stuffing oneself 😁 I am in love with this place! Definitely visiting Srinagar just to gorge more...

Ufff where from should i start…. After watching laila majnu movie this place was in my must visit list. This place is very close to my heart. So i had decided once i ll land in Srinagar this will be the first place I will visit every time .

What a beautiful place.what an atmosphere. Beautiful people with amazing hospitality.

It was so amazing being there i am not able to express my feelings in words.

So we tried their local things. Asked him to get whatever he wants us to try.

And that guy did jOb.

This Tea moment felt very special and soothing which really goes well with the ambience. This place is decorated very tastefully with flower designs ceramic tea cups, kettles, samovar and different types of tea's. One of the best place to have tea experience in Srinagar.

Also their service is very good too, we asked a lot of questions about tea cuz we don’t really know what’s the difference, staff is very attentive and patient with us! full house even on weekday. Cozy environment,...

Hello travellers, I am a fellow traveller from Hyderabad and I write reviews to make your travel easier, you can follow me for more reviews in the area you are travelling 3 Pillars of a great cafe 1. Taste - Just plain bad. It was below expectations and will not recommend. I tried the pizza, we asked for extra cheese buy they didn’t customise it. We ordered the pink sauce pasta and he gave us the red sauce pasta. It tasted like ketchup and in the worst possible way. The tea was also not something I would pay 150 bucks for. If you are deciding to visit here, be there for the ambience, not the taste. Service - This is where things went downhill. We had to leave in 20 mins and asked for a service asap but he didn’t get tea for 25 mins and pizza for 30 mins. The waiter was incapable of suggesting dishes, the tea menu is confusing and you would require some guidance but you won’t get any. Ambience - This is something that they have nailed it and only reason I would recommend a person to visit.
