Read moreThe cafe is a newly built tourist attraction in Gulmarg. Being in a tourist area it is popular among the tourists. Is surely a decent place to visit. However few things to be noted. Entry requires fee. Prices are not fixed, can be adjusted with the help of the guide who will accompany you. If you try to go by yourself, you may be charged hefty, but if guide purchases the tickets can be done within very less amount. Seating places are ok ok. Understandable as all are ice, but few seats have water dripping over them from top hence select accordingly. Best seats are towards the railing. Tourists keep the covers dirty hence please check before sitting. I have seen people standing on the seats without caring that some other person may sit there. Price is costly as it is a tourist spot, but can be worth a new experience. Waiting time was too much for us. We ordered kahwa. They took more than 30 minutes to bring them. They prepare it from the hotel and then bring and prepare once a good number of orders are placed. Hence keep the waiting period in mind. Place will remain crowded and please be careful kn the stairs as these are freezed ice hence will be slippery. Please wear good shoes with friction. Sneakers are risky.
Over all a 4 out of 5 place. But the view outside in a snowy day is...
Read moreI wish i could review with a negative rating. This was a noisy and worthless place to spend time n money. The service was too bad. Not everything listed on the menu was available. Their staff dont know their own menu. Atleast the staff should understnd hindi or english. We had to explain them what pasta we need. Now the igloo thing which is overly hyped in the instagrm reels. Its jst plastic tent with basic plastic seating arrangment for which they charge 2k for 40 mins excluding any meal combo. But the order itself takes about half n hr to be served. Then the worst part we were asked to pay the bill as soon as our order was served. They didn’t even let us finish our food even though there was no waiting customers or any rush. Better to have food at maggie point. Then again they charge to use their own washroom. Plz dnt follow the misleading instagram reels. N for the self declared influencers, ur misleading info could ruin someone’s...
